THE CONCEPT OF GOD
ISLAM VS CHRISTIANITY
&
JUDAISM

                    In THE NAME OF ALLAH
THE MOST GRACIOUS THE MOST MERCIFUL

Introduction

“Do you believe in God?”
This question is probably the first and most commonly asked question that people use when trying to start a religious conversation with someone. And no matter how many people are being asked this question, for those who believe; the answer is always the same: yes I believe in God, which gives the impression that we all believe in the same God. But when we move along with our conversation and try to find out about the person’s concept of God, or ask this person to explain to us the nature of God from his point of view; we will probably hear a different idea or theory from each person we talk to, and sometimes, we will hear more than a couple of ideas or theories from each person.
As a matter of fact, if we were to bring in a family consisting of five persons and ask each person separately about his concept; we will find out that each one has a different concept that is contradicting to the concepts of his family members.
There must be about hundreds of different concepts or philosophies out there that try to explain the nature of God, who He really is, how He is like, or what kind of qualities does He possess and so on. So how could we know which concept is correct and which one to accept?
Well, as a Muslim being brought up by the teachings of Islam, the answer is easy; choose the concept that glorifies God the most, the concept that attributes to God complete perfection and uniqueness, the concept that attributes to God the most exalted qualities and the most sublime descriptions. This is exactly what Islam did as we will see later on.
In this book, by God’s will, we will discuss the concept of God according to the three main and largest leading religions that exist; Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Every piece of information in this book will be supported with scriptural evidence so there would be no doubts of dishonesty or untruthfulness.
The sources of the Islamic concept are the Qur’an and the Sunnah. (Sunnah means: the teachings of the prophet of Islam peace be upon him) The source of Christianity and Judaism is the Bible, for both religions established their concepts from it, keeping in mind that Judaism accepts the Old Testament only to be its holy scripture, while Christianity accepts both, the old and the New Testament (the whole bible), to be its holy scripture.
Even though both Judaism and Christianity rely on the same book, which would only make sense for them to adopt the same concept, the reader will be surprised to notice that there are major and serious differences between the two religions concerning the nature of God.

The most radical difference would be, with no doubt, the issue of whether there is one God, or shall I say: One God manifested in one being; the Father, or three Gods, or shall I say: one God manifested in three beings or persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, as claimed by Christians, which is the same as saying three Gods, without the manipulation of words, specially when Christians believe that all three beings or persons are distinct, not equal in greatness or authority,  possess different qualities or characteristics, different abilities or powers, different wills, different actions or jobs, and for sure different forms.
Judaism has always believed in the existence of one Divine Being and rejected any ideas that would suggest the existence of any other Divine Beings beside God the Father. As for Christianity, it believes in the existence of three Divine Beings. Christianity has declared the divinity of Jesus and the Holy Spirit and has appointed them Gods along with God the Father.
The reader will be more surprised and confused to find out that Christianity, or shall we say, the Church has abandoned the pure teachings of the Bible, neglected all the clear evidence mentioned in the Bible that teach pure monotheism, and managed to come up with concepts and philosophies of its own that led Christianity to become a polytheistic religion, rather than a monotheistic one.
To simplify, Christianity and Judaism adopt the same concept concerning God the Father, but they dissent concerning the other two so called “Gods” created by Christianity.
So in most cases we will address the concept of Christianity and Judaism as one concept unless there are differences, which in this case; we will separate the two concepts.
After all, Christianity was never considered to be a separate religion from Judaism, yet it was like a newer version to it. This fact is confirmed by the bible in various places even by Jesus himself. Jesus used to urge people to follow the Law; the Torah, and always referred to it and to the teachings of previous prophets throughout his teachings.

The Bible reported Jesus saying:

“I did not come to abolish the law or the prophets but to fulfill. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen will disappear from the law until everything is accomplished anyone who breaks the least of one of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Mathew 5/17-20, also Luke 16/17)

So it was clear that he did not come with a different religion, nor was he sent to preach to any other people beside the Jews, as he himself was reported saying:
I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Mathew 15/27)

And after the death of Jesus; the situation remained the same for many years. Christianity was never considered a separate religion. Christians did not even have separate churches for them to go to in the early stages. They used to share the same houses of God with the Jews, and it Christians kept doing that until around 90 CE when the Jews excluded the Christians from synagogue worship. Even during the life of Jesus, He used to teach at the Jews’ Synagogues. (Mark 1/39).

Mathew 15/27, the verse that we have just mentioned, brings us to discussing the disputable issue, even among Christians themselves, concerning Christianity’s claim of “the universal” nature of the message of Jesus. This verse, along with a number of other verses in the Bible, clearly settles the dispute. It clearly states that message Jesus was not universal, yet it was only meant for the Jews and not for all mankind.

1- IS GOD ONE OR TRIUNE (THREE)?

CHRISTIANITY

Christians believe in the existence of three Gods. They believe in something called the trinity, which is considered to be one of the most important doctrines of Christianity.
This doctrine simply attributes the deity to three persons. It states that not only The Father is God, but Jesus is also a God and the Holy Spirit is a God too, which brings to existence three Gods to be worshipped. But the idea of three Gods was rejected big time by the Jews and Christians themselves. Many Christian fathers and theologians had problems accepting this idea. That is why the supporters of this doctrine had to come up with a suitable and acceptable definition for the trinity to try to ease down the rejections that faced this doctrine by those who always believed that Christianity is a monotheistic religion and did not accept for it to become a polytheistic one. So they turned to explaining the trinity as not meaning that there are three Gods but as meaning that there are three persons in one Godhead. They say that even though the Father is God, Jesus is a God and the Holy Spirit is also a God; yet there is only one God and not three Gods. They say that the Father + the Son + the Holy Spirit = one God and not three. So according to Christianity; 1+1+1= 1, but according to mathematics, logic and everything we have learned; 1+1+1= 3. So unless Christians mean that the Father is 1/3 God and the son is 1/3 God and the Holy Spirit is 1/3 God, which makes the three combined as one complete God; no one who thinks properly and according to logic can accept this Trinitarian formula, specially when Christians believe that the Father is a complete God, the son is another complete God and the Holy Spirit is another complete God. Christians believe that each of the three persons has a different and a separate identity, each possesses different characteristics, each is reported to perform different duties, and not all three are equal in greatness, knowledge, power or capability, as clearly shown in the bible in many verses.
Ever since this Trinity concept was formulated during the 4th Century, Christians have been trying to solve the incomprehensible, unsolvable equation, or shall we say: the mystery, which they themselves have created. The Christian church, along with hundreds of Christian fathers, theologians, scholars have issued hundreds of definitions to try to explain the concept of the Trinity but failed miserably. Today, all they could say about the Trinity is: it is a mystery that Christians should blindly believe in without trying to explain it, understand it or make sense out of it.
The most shocking of all is that the word “trinity” is not found any where in the bible.
There is not one verse in the bible that states that there are three Gods or that there are three persons in one Godhead, as claimed by this doctrine. (It is funny, even my computer can’t accept this Trinitarian equation and keeps underlining the phrase “ three persons in one Godhead” and when I click on it, it says: Number agreement, consider revising). So the doctrine of the trinity basically does not have any manuscript proofs that could support it. It is simply one of the inventions of the early church. This doctrine never existed during the life time of Jesus nor was it practiced by Christianity after his death until the 4th century. So for 400 years, Christianity knew nothing about this doctrine until it was formulated by the church in the year 381 in the council of Constantinople.

The Trinity Concept was not formulated at one go, it took the church three councils to formulate it:
At the Council of Nicaea AD 325; they claimed that Jesus was of the same substance as God the Father, therefore declaring him divine.
At the Council of Constantinople I AD 381; they confirmed the teachings of the council of Nicaea and expanded; the Holy Spirit is also fully divine; thus the Trinity has one divine "nature," but three distinct "persons."
It wasn't until AD 451, at the Council of Chalcedon, that the trinity was declared authoritative. Debates on the matter were no longer tolerated; to speak out against the Trinity was now considered blasphemy. But it seems that such declaration by the church was not enough to stop the followers of the truth (the monotheistic Christians) from rejecting this doctrine and debating it with all the powers they got. Many early famous church fathers considered such a teaching “The Trinity” to be a heresy and never accepted it as being a part of the Christian orthodox, such as; the Famous Arius, the bishop from the great Alexandrian church, to whom Arianism is attributed and later on Unitarianism, and many other followers from all around the Christian world, who stood for what they believed in against the Emperor Constantine, who was originally a pagan trying to paganize Christianity in order to attract new pagans to the religion and unite his Roman Pagan Empire once again. Unfortunately, Constantine and his followers succeeded in corrupting the pure monotheistic message of Christianity. Arius was exiled with a number of his followers, others were put to death immediately and any Christian who disbelieved in the trinity was burned alive, along with any books that spoke of Jesus as being a mere man and a prophet, and not divine.
And even after all that the church did to try to hide the truth; the controversy remained within the Christian world. And today in the 21st century the situation still remains the same; the doctrine of the trinity is one of the most controversial and disputed issues among the Christian scholars.

ISLAM

Muslims believe in monotheism, they believe that there is only one God and they believe that God is one being and not divided into three persons as claimed by the trinity. Muslims consider believing in the trinity as a blasphemy against God.
The Qur’an says:
“Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allâh is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilâh (god) but One Ilâh (God -Allâh). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them” (Surah number 5 Al -Maidah verse 73)
“No son (or offspring or children) did Allâh beget, nor is there any ilâh (God) along with Him; (if there had been many Gods), behold, each God would have taken away
what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allâh above all that they attribute to Him!” (Surah no.23 Al-Momenon v.91)

“And your Ilâh (God) is One Ilâh (God - Allâh), Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (no God but Him), the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.” (Surah no.2 Al-Baqarah verse 163)

“And Allâh said (O mankind!): "Take not ilâhaîn (two Gods in worship, etc.). Verily, He (Allâh) is One Ilâh (God). Then, fear Me (Allâh) much [and Me (Alone), i.e. be away from all kinds of sins and evil deeds that Allâh has forbidden and do all that Allâh has ordained and worship none but Allâh].” (Surah no.16 An-Nahl verse 52)

“And indeed your God is one.” (Surah no. 37 Al-Saffat verse 4)

“Say (O Muhammad): "I am only a human being like you and it has been revealed to me that your Ilâh (God) is One Ilâh (God - Allâh), therefore take Straight Path to Him (with true Faith Islâmic Monotheism) and obedience to Him, and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe to Al-Mushrikûn (the disbelievers, polytheists, idolaters)” (Surah no.37 Fussilat verse 6)

“O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allâh aught but the truth. The Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), was (no more than) a Messenger of Allâh and His Word, ("Be!" - and he was) which He bestowed on Maryam (Mary) and a spirit (Rûh) created by Him; so believe in Allâh and His Messengers. Say not: "Three (trinity)!" Cease!     (it is) better for you. For Allâh is only One Ilâh (God), Glory be to Him (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allâh is All Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs.” (Surah no.4 Al-Nisaa v.171)

“Say (O Muhammad): I am only a warner and there is no Ilâh (God) except Allâh
(none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh) the One, the Irresistible”
 (Surah no.38 Sad v.65)
“And that they may know that there is only one God (Allah)”
 (Surah no.14 Ebrahim v.52)
“Say (O Muhammad): It is revealed to me that your Ilâh (God) is only one Ilâh (God - Allâh). Will you then submit to His Will (become Muslims and stop worshipping others besides Allâh)?" (Surah no.21 Al-Anbiaa v.108)
“So know (O Muhammad) that there is no God but Allâh”
 (Surah no.47 Mohammad v.19)
“Say (O Muhammad to these polytheists, pagans, etc.): If there had been other âliha (gods) along with Him as they assert, then they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne (seeking His Pleasures and to be near to Him)” (Surah no.17 Al-Israa v.42)

The Qur’an is full of many verses that state there is only one God.
In fact, I find it so contradicting to find any Christian believing in the trinity and believing in the bible at the same time. There are many verses in the Bible; (Old Testament and New Testament) that clearly state that there is only one God, so believing in the trinity would contradict all these many clear undoubted verses. Some of these verses are:

Old Testament

In Deuteronomy 6/4 it says: “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord...”
"That you might know that the LORD is God; there is no other besides him."
(Deuteronomy 4:35)
"The LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other" (Deuteronomy 4:39)
"See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no God beside me" (Deuteronomy 32:39)
"The LORD is God; there is no other" (1 Kings 8:60)
"Thou art the LORD, thou alone" (Nehemiah 9:6)
"Let them know that thou alone, whose name is the LORD, art the Most High over all
  the earth" (Psalm 83:18)
".... Thou alone art God" (Psalm 86:10)
"Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me" (Isaiah 43:10)
"I am the Lord, and besides me there is no savior" (Isaiah 43:11)
"Therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God." (Isaiah 43:12)
"I am the first, and I am the last: besides me there is no God" (Isaiah 44:6)
"Is there a God besides me? There is no Rock; I know not any" (Isaiah 44:8)
"I am the LORD, and there is no other, besides me there is no God" (Isaiah 45:5)
"I am the Lord, and there is no other" (Isaiah 45:6, see also verse 14)
"I am the Lord, and there is no other" (Isaiah 45:18)
"there is no other god besides me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none
  besides me" (Isaiah 45:21)
"For I am God, and there is no other" (Isaiah 45:22)
"For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me"
   (Isaiah 46:9)
"... you know no God but me, and besides me there is no Savior" (Hosea 13:4)
“O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you.”
   (2 Samuel 7/22)
“Have we not one Father? Did not one God created us?” (In Malachi 2/10)

New Testament

In John 17/3 it says: “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou has sent.” (A messenger just like all the other messengers that were sent)
In Mark 12/28-32 one of the scribes asked Jesus saying: “which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus said: the first of all the commandment is; hear O Israel, the Lord thee God is one Lord.” so the scribe said to Jesus: well master, thou has said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but Him”
In Matthew 4/9-10 when the devil said to Jesus: “ bow down and worship me”
Jesus said: “away from me Satan, for it is written: worship the Lord your God and serve him only”
In 1 Corinthians 8/6 it says: “yet for us there is but one God, the Father from whom are all things.”
In James 2/19 it says: “you believe that there is one God. Good”
In Ephesians 4/6 it says: “one God and Father of all, who is over all...”
"To the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever
and ever. Amen" (1 Timothy 1:17).
"For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man
  Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5).
"... the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has
immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has ever seen or can
  see" (1 Timothy 6:15-16).
"To the only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty,
dominion and authority, before all time and now and for ever. Amen" (Jude 25).
"... O King of the ages! Who shall not fear and glorify thy name, O Lord? For thou
  alone are holy" (Revelation 15:4).
"... we know ... that there is no God but one" (I Corinthians 8:4).
“They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who
love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them.”
  (John 14:21)
So if you love Jesus; follow his commandment, which is: “And Jesus said: the first of all the commandment is; hear O Israel, the Lord thee God is one Lord.” (Mark 12/28-30)

After reading all the previous verses from the bible, it only makes sense for Christians to admit that the bible teaches pure monotheism. But it seems that Christians don’t give up. They claim that there is verse in the bible that support the doctrine of the trinity.
The famous verse they always refer to is 1John 5/7-8. Christians have used this verse to try to persuade people to believe in the trinity, and the truth that many people don’t know is that this verse in an insertion. It is not a part of the scripture. The church has altered verses 5/7-8 of the first Epistle of John completely by adding these words to the beginning of it:
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” So it would match the teaching of the doctrine of the trinity.
The original text of the bible reads:
John 5/7: “for there are three that testify” (NIV, RSV)
John 5/8: “the spirit, the water and the blood and the three are in agreement” (NIV, RSV)
But the corrupted text after their insertion reads:
John 5:7: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
John 5:8: “And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.”

This insertion is not found in any respectable Bible. Most Bibles that we read today do not include it. It was only included in the (King James Version) until the newer and more reliable version of the bible appeared and was named the Revised Standard Version (RSV), which was considered by Christendom to be the best bible version ever to be published.
The 32 Christian scholars who revised the (KJV) and produced the (RSV) have expunged 1John 5/7 because they found out that it did not have any manuscript authority. The verse was not found in any of the original manuscripts that they relied on, knowing that they have relied on the most ancient original manuscripts.

Even the Dutch scholar Desiderius Erasmus, the editor of the first edition of the Greek New Testament ever to be published, has also omitted the Trinitarian formula; verse 1John 5/7 from his edition, and when he was asked for the reason, he said:
“I have not found the verse in any Greek manuscripts.”

And in the Scofield Bible reference, Dr. C.I. Scofield, supported by eight other doctors, said about 1John 5/7:
“It is generally agreed that this verse has no manuscript authority and has been inserted.”

And D.A. Carson, professor of New Testament at trinity Evangelical Divinity school, who holds a Ph.D. degree from Cambridge University and a graduate of McGill University and Central Baptist Seminary (Toronto) says on page 59 of his book (The King James Version debate, A plea for realism):
“Some defenders of the king James now admit that the Comma Johanneum (the Trinitarian formula) 1John 5/7 forms no part of the original text.”

He also says on page 61:
“The Comma Johanneum did not become established in the old Latin until the fifth century.” He also said:
“It does not appear in Jerome’s Vulgate” and that: “the Jerome’s Vulgate underwent a whole series of revisions and the Comma Johanneum did not appear in the Vulgate until the beginning of the ninth century.”
He also said:
“In the eastern church, where Greek was still used, not one Greek manuscript included the Comma Johanneum.”
He also mentioned that:
“They are certainly not an integral part of the Byzantine textual tradition”.
What we have mentioned was only few of the many declarations and confessions made by Christian scholars concerning the trinity.

JUDAISM

Judaism simply rejects the Christian concept (the trinity) and denies the existence of any other Gods beside God Almighty. It teaches pure monotheism as shown from the verses that we have mentioned previously from the Old Testament.

2- DOES GOD HAVE A SON?

CHRISTIANITY

Christians claim that God has a son. Such false allegation was the result of the misinterpretation of the verses in the bible that address Jesus as the son of God.
And even though Jesus was not the only one addressed as the son of God, and many others were also called the sons of God, such as Adam in Luke 3/38, Israel in Exodus 4/22, Ephraim in Jeremiah 31/9, David in Psalms 2/7 and Solomon in 2Samuel 7/14, and even though the bible describes all people as to be the sons of God and He to be their Father, yet Christians misinterpret these verses by saying that Jesus is the literal begotten son and that all the others, who were addressed by the sons of God, are the created (metaphorical) sons and not begotten sons like Jesus. Which makes no sense because by saying this; they will be contradicting Jesus himself. In John 20/17 Jesus made no difference between God’s fatherhood to him and God’s fatherhood to all the others. Jesus said in John 20/17: “Go instead to my brothers and tell them: I am returning to my father and your father, to my God and yours God.” making no difference between him and them. Christians wanted to have biblical evidence to support there point of view, but since such evidence could not be found; they had to use their charm. So they mistranslated John 3/16 and inserted the word “only begotten” instead of the correct translation.
This is how they mistranslated John 3/16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
But if we go back to the original Greek text we will find out that the word used in this verse is monogenes” which means “of a single kind or unique” and not “gennao” which means “Begotten” (Anchor Bible, volume 26 pages 13-14)
So the original correct translation of John 3/16 should be: “For God so loved the world that He gave His unique son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
The first person to mistranslate the word “monogenes” was Jerome. (4th century)
He translated “monogenes" into the Latin word “unigenitus” which means “only begotten” to match the early 4th century claims that Jesus was of the same substance of The Father.
That is why the 32 Christian scholars who revised the (KJV) expunged the word “only begotten” from the newer version (RSV) because it had no manuscript authority.
And that is why it is not found in the (NIV) bible or in most of the Bible versions all over the world.

ISLAM

Muslims believe that God has no son and consider such a belief to be a blasphemy against God Almighty. They consider this belief to be a great insult to God because it does not befit God to beget a son. Begetting is something that befits humans and animals only; special when the act of begetting is the result of a male and a female having sexual intercourse. And we all agree that it is far from God Almighty to have a wife so how and why would God beget a son then.
God Almighty said in the Qur’an:
“And they (Christians or any one who make the same claims) say: Allâh has begotten a son. Glory be to Him (Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). Nay, to Him belong all that is in the heavens and on earth, and all surrender with obedience (in worship) to Him” (surah no. 2 Al Baqara verse 116)

“O people of the Scripture! For Allâh is One Ilâh (God), Glory be to Him (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allâh is AllSufficient as a Disposer of affairs.” (surah no.4 Al Nisaa, verse 171)

“He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. How can He have children when He has no wife? He created all things and He is the All-Knower of everything.” (surah no.6 Al An ‘am verse no.101)

“It befits not (the Majesty of) Allâh that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against Allâh, by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allâh]. Glorified and exalted is He above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, "Be!" and it is.” (Surah no. 19 Mary verse no. 35)

And in verses no. 89-96 it says:
“Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, that they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allâh). But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allâh) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allâh) as a slave.
Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. And every one of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender).Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allâh and in His Messenger (Muhammad peace be upon him)] and work deeds of righteousness,
The Most Beneficent (Allâh) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers).”

And Allah's Apostle said, "Allah the Most Superior said, "The son of Adam insults Me, and he should not insult Me, and he disbelieves in Me, and he ought not to do so. As for his insult to Me, it is that he says that I have a son; and his disbelief in Me is his statement that I shall not recreate him as I have created (him) before." (The book of Al-Bukhari no.1350)

Muslims consider Jesus no more than a great messenger of God. The Qur’an says:
“The Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddiqah [i.e. she believed in the words of Allâh and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allâh does not eat). Look how We make the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).”                     (Surah no.5 Al Maida verse no.74)
“Verily, the likeness of 'Iesa (Jesus), before Allah, is like the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was.” (Surah no.3 Al Imran verse 59)

And our prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) said: “If anyone testifies that La ilaha ila Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah Alone) and that He Has no partners, and that Mohammed is His slave and messenger, and that Jesus is Allah’s slave and messenger and His word (“Be”- and he was) which He bestowed on Mary and a spirit (Ruh) created by Him, and that Paradise is the truth, and Hell is the truth- Allah will admit him into Paradise with the deeds which he had done even if those deeds were few.”

In Islam it is not even acceptable to ascribe God as the Father (metaphorically speaking), because Muslims only ascribe God with what He has ascribed Himself with, and God did not ascribe Himself as mankind’s Father neither in the Qur’an nor in the teachings of the prophet Mohammad peace be upon him. Another Good reason we don’t ascribe God as The Father is to not give a chance for someone to misinterpret the meaning of the words the way Christians did; claiming that God is the literal (real) Father of Jesus.

Judaism

Judaism rejects the Christian concept and does not regard Jesus as being the son of God. In fact the Jews have accused Jesus of blasphemy and persecuted him because he called himself the son of God: “The Jews insisted: we have a law and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the son of God” (John 19/7)
“For this reason the Jews tried harder to kill him, not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal to God” (John 5/18)
“Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him. But Jesus said to them I have shown you many miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” “We are not stoning you for any of these” replied the Jews. “but for blasphemy, because you a mere man claim to be God” (John 10/31-33).

As we can see; these verses clearly state that the Jews reject the idea of God having a son and they wanted to kill him many times because he called him self the son of God.
But the truth is that Jesus never claimed to be the literal or the begotten son of God and never made himself a God or equal to God as the Jews claimed.
In John 10/34-36 he tried to explain to them (and anyone else who would misinterpret his words) that he never made such claims and that he was only using metaphorical descriptive terms:
“Jesus answered them: is it not written in your law: “I have said you are gods?” if he called them gods to whom the word of God came and the scripture can not be broken, what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said: I am God’s son”

The Jews were the ones who always misunderstand him because he used to speak to them in an allegoric way. Jesus always used metaphorical descriptive terms or words that are unclear. In fact according to many verses listed in the Gospels; Jesus’ words and parables were unclear and confusing to many people, even his own disciples had problems understanding him as mentioned in the following verses:
John 8/27: “they did not understand what he was telling them about the Father”
John 10/24: “the Jews gathered around him saying: How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ tell us plainly”
John 16/18 the disciples said: “we don’t understand what he is saying”
John 16/29: “then Jesus’ disciples said: Now you are speaking clearly and without figures of speech.”
Many of the things that Jesus used to say was so unclear to the extent that the disciples thought his teachings to be so hard to accept, which led many of his disciples to stop following him as mentioned in John 6/60: “on hearing it, many of his disciples said: this is a hard teaching, who can accept it.” And in John 6/66: “from this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.”
The Jews disbelieve in Jesus completely; they don’t even consider him as a prophet:
“We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow; we don’t even know where he comes from” (John 9/29)
They even disbelieved in his miraculous birth and consider him born of an adulterous relationship, and a lot worse, but this is not the issue we are talking about. There is not one verse in the Old Testament that claims that Jesus is the literal begotten son of God, and none of the prophets that came before Jesus claimed such a teaching either. And no Jew today claims or believes that Jesus is the son of God. This proves that Judaism is against such a teaching.

3- DOES GOD EAT & DRINK?

Christianity & Judaism

The bible says that God eats and drinks.
In Genesis 18 it says that The Lord appeared to Abraham, so Abraham prepared a good meal to be eaten by The Lord and the other two that accompanied Him, and they ate, as mentioned in 18/5-8.

ISLAM

The Qur’an says that God Almighty does not eat.
Surah no.6 verse.14 says:
“Say {O Muhammad (peace be upon him)}: "Shall I take as a Walî (helper, protector, etc.) any other than Allâh, the Creator of the heavens and the earth? And it is He Who feeds but is not fed.”
And in surah no.5 Al-Maida verse 75:
“The Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)]
was a Siddiqah. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allâh does not eat). Look how We make the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth)”

In this verse God Almighty mentioned that Jesus and his mother Mary used to eat food just
like any other humans, as an answer to those who say that Jesus is a God. In other words; God is telling them that Jesus can’t be a God because Jesus used to eat, and a true God does not eat. Islam confirms that it does not befit God to eat. Eating and drinking is something that humans need to do in order to survive, which shows the weakness of humans. But when it comes to God Almighty He is far from being weak, He is far from needing to eat or drink to survive. He Almighty is not in need of anything or anyone.

“O mankind! It is you who stand in need of Allâh, but Allâh is Rich (Free of all wants and needs), Worthy of all praise.” Surah no.35 Ftir verse 15
“And know that Allah is Rich (free from all wants)” (Al-Baqara no 64)
“Allah Al-Samad” (Surat no.112 Al-Ikhlas verse 2)
Al-Samad is one of the names of Allah which means; the one who doesn’t eat or drink.

4- DOES GOD GET TIRED?

Christianity& Judaism

The bible says that God gets tired and needs to rest to be refreshed.
In Genesis 2/3 it says: “And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because in it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done.”
In Exodus 31/17 it says: “...for in six days the lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.”

ISLAM

The Qur’an rejects this point of view. In Islam it is considered a blasphemy against God to think that He God Almighty gets tired.
The Qur’an says in surah no. 50 verse no. 38:
Allah says: “And indeed We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days and nothing of fatigue touched Us.”
Again it is normal for humans to get tired due to their weakness. But God the Al-mighty is far from being weak.

5- DOES GOD SLEEP?

Christianity& Judaism

The bible says that God sleeps.
In Psalms 44/23 says: “Awake, O Lord! Why do you sleep?”

ISLAM

In Islam; believing in such a thing is considered a blasphemy against God. The Qur’an rejects this false allegation.
The Qur’an says in Surah no.2 verse no. 255:
“Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (no God but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtakes Him.”
And the prophet Mohammad said:
“ALLAH (God) does not sleep and it does not befit Him to sleep.Narrated by Muslim.
Imagine a God who sleeps? Who will watch over the creation? Who will take care of the universe? Who will provide us with what we need and answer our prayers, while God is asleep? Again it is normal for humans to sleep because they need it due to their weakness. But God Almighty is far from that. He is far from needing to sleep. How could He sleep when everything that exists is depending upon Him? It is He who “grasps the Heavens and the earth lest they move away from their places, and if they were to move from their places, there is no one that could grasp them after Him” (Fatir verse.41)
“He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except by His Leave” (Al-Hajj 65)
6-DOES GOD FORGET?

Christianity& Judaism

The bible says that God forgets.
In Psalms 13/1 it says: “How long O Lord? Will you forget me forever?”
In Lamentations 5/19-20 says: “You, O Lord, reign forever; Your throne endure from generation to generation. Why do You Always forget us?”
Psalms 44/24why do You hide Your face and forget our misery and oppression”
And if someone was to read 2 Kings 19 and compare it to Isaiah 37, he will find the two whole chapters identical word by word. It seems that the biblical God forgot that he inspired the author of 2 Kings to write these words; so He inspired the author of Isaiah to write it again.

ISLAM

The Qur’an says that God Almighty does not forget.
In surah no.19 Maryam verse 64:
“And we (angels) descend not except by the Command of your Lord (O Muhammad SAW). To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between those two, and your Lord is never forgetful”
In surah no. 20 Taha verse no. 52 says:
“My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets”
For humans it is natural that they might forget, because no one has a perfect memory.
As for God, it does not befit Him to forget, because He Almighty is perfect. He has no
defects in His memory. It is a blasphemy against God to think that He Almighty forgets, for it is a great insult to Him. Besides, could someone imagine what could happen to us if God forgets all the good deeds we have done in our lives? We will end up going to hell instead of heaven, and maybe those who did the bad deeds will end up going to heaven instead of going to hell. (Sorry for my sarcasm)

7-DOES GOD GETS GRIEVED OR REPENTS?

Christianity& Judaism

Genesis 6/6-7 God says: “I am grieved that I have made man” (NIV)
“And it repented the Lord that He had made man on earth” (KJV)
1 Samuel 15/11 God says: “I am grieved that I have made Saul a king” (NIV)
“It repenteth me that I have set Saul a king” (KJV)
2 Samuel 24/16 says: “the Lord was grieved....” (NIV)
See also 1 Chronicles 21/15

8- Does God make unwise decisions or mistakes
& then regret making them?

Christianity& Judaism

The bible introduces God as an unwise God who makes unwise decisions, then regrets making them. This is how the story goes; in Genesis 6/5-7, after God has created man, man became wicked, so when the Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth, God was grieved and He regretted creating man.
And in 1 Samuel 15/11, 35 tells us that God was grieved and regretted making Saul a king over Israel, because Saul did not obey God’s instructions during the battle. God’s instructions were:
“Now go, attack the Amlekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them, do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys” 1Samuel 15/3.
But Saul did not obey God’s instructions, he did not destroy everything, he spared Agag the king of the Amalekites and spared the best of sheep and cattle, the fat calves and lambs. So God regretted making Saul a king.
And in 1Chronicles 21/15 it says that God was grieved again and had to repent from another unwise, unjust and evil decision that He made. This is how the story goes; the devil incited David to take a census of Israel, so David ordered Joab to do so, so Joab went and counted Israel, so God got mad, so He gave David three options to pick from as a punishment; either to be punished by three years of famine or three months being swept away before his enemies with their swords overtaking him, or three days of plague. So David chose three days of plague, so God sends a plague that kills 70 000 men and then He sends an angel to destroy Jerusalem, and while the angel was doing so; God felt grieved again and regretted doing such a thing.
And in 2 Samuel 24/16 the same story was mentioned, but it even gets more confusing because it says that God was the one who incited David to take the census and not the devil, as mentioned in 1 Chronicles. Which makes no sense, because if God was the one who incited David to take the census, then why would He get mad from David then? It makes no sense. This verse proves to us that the author of 2 Samuel was not inspired by God, in other words; the story told in 2 Samuel is not from God, because God is neither the author of confusion nor is He unjust.
So as we can see that there are many stories in the bible that introduces God as an unwise God who makes unwise decisions and acts and then regrets doing them.

ISLAM

In Islam; ascribing God with such attributes is not acceptable. It is not suitable to say that God Almighty gets grieved. Grief is a type of weakness that befalls humans and God is far from weakness. As to believe that God makes unwise decisions or acts then regrets it after that or repents. Such attributes does not befit God’s knowledge and wisdom.

Muslims believe that God is The Most Knowledgeable, The All-Knowing, The well-Aware and The All Wise. So every decision or act made by God is made according to His great complete perfect knowledge and His great complete perfect wisdom. There are absolutely no mistakes involved; so there is no place for any regrets. Besides if God was to repent; who would He repent to?
According to Islam; when God created mankind, He knew that mankind will do evil and wicked things. He knew that mankind will be weak in front of his lustful desires.
Let’s see what the Qur’an says about the creation of mankind:
In surah no.2 Al-Baqara verse 30:

“And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth."
They said (The Angels): "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, while we glorify You with praises and thanks (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners) and sanctify You.
“He (Allâh) said: "I know that which you do not know."

This verse shows clearly that even the Angels knew that mankind will do wicked things on earth, but God told them “I Know more than u do” in other words; God is telling them that there is wisdom behind the creation of mankind.
Abu Huraira (one of the prophet’s companions) reported Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying:
“There was an argument between Adam and Moses. Moses said to Adam: You are our father. You did us harm and caused us to get out of Paradise. Adam said to him: You are Moses. Allah selected you (for direct conversation with you) and wrote with His own Hand the Book (Torah) for you. Despite this you blame me for an act which Allah had ordained for me forty years before He created me. Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said: This is how Adam defeated Moses in the argument (the prophet repeated the last phrase twice to confirm it)”
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) also said : “Allah ordained the measures of the creation fifty thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, as His Throne was upon water.” Narrated by Muslim

In Surah no.54 Al-Qamar verse no.49 God says:
“Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine preordainments of all things before their creation as written in the book of decrees)

So according to Islam; the creation of mankind and their acts are predestined. But according to the bible; it is not. According to the bible; the creation of mankind was nothing but a big mistake or a big unwise decision that God made. That is why the biblical God felt grieved and regretted creating mankind afterwards, and this was not the only thing that the biblical God regretted doing, there are many more regrets and unwise decisions made by the biblical God as we have mentioned previously and as mentioned all over the Bible, which shows that the Biblical God lacks wisdom, knowledge and perfection that is why he make mistakes.

According to Islam; God Almighty is far from making any mistakes because He is perfect in everything, His attributes and qualities are perfect, His acts and decisions are perfect, His laws are perfect, His creation is perfect and His supervision and control over His creation is perfect.

In surah no. 15 El-Hijr verse 85
“And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with Alhaq (Alhaq means many things: perfection, truth, wisdom, right measurements)”

“It is He Who made the sun a shining thing and the moon as a light and measured out its (their) stages, that you might know the number of years and the reckoning. Allâh did not create this but by truth. (perfection, wisdom, unique perfect measurements)”
(Surah no.10 Yunus verse 5)

“He (God) has created everything, and has measured it exactly according to its due measurements. (Perfectly)” (Surah no.25 Al-Furqan verse 2)

“Indeed Allah has set a measure for everything” (Surah no.65 al-Talaq verse 3)
“Allâh knows what every female bears, and by how much the wombs fall short (of their time or number) or exceed. Everything with Him is in (due) proportion.”
 (Surah no.13 Al-Raad verse 8)

The Qur’an even mentions that God sends down the rain with precise measurements.     “And We sent down the rain from the sky with precise measurements” (Surah no.23 Al-
  Momenoon verse18)

Even the leaves that fall from the trees, He Almighty knew when and where the leaves will fall even before He created the earth.
“Not a leaf falls, but he knows it.” (Surah no.6 verse 59)

So everything that God has created and every decision was made; it was created or made in a unique and perfect way according to God’s knowledge and wisdom. So there are no chances for mistakes or regrets.

9-Isn’t God Omniscient?
Doesn’t He know everything?
Or is He unaware and doesn’t know manythings?

Christianity& Judaism

Genesis 3/8 says that Adam and Eve hid from God in the garden after they ate from the tree, and God did not know where they were, so he called upon them saying “where are you?” (Can you believe that?)
Genesis 11/5 says that the Lord had to come down to see the city and the tower
that the men were building. In other words; the bible is saying that God does not see from far away and he had to go down to see the city and what the men were building.

Numbers 22/9 says that God did not know who the men that Balaam accompanied were.

Job 1/7 & 2/2 say that God did not know where the devil was, so he had to ask him saying: “where have you come from?” Is the Bible trying to indicate that God does not know everything? (If you read the story, you will understand that it was no just a question of authority, the Biblical God did not know where the devil was.)

And in Genesis 6/5-7 it shows that God has no knowledge of the future, the verses say that after God saw the wickedness that man did on Earth, He God regretted creating man, which means that God did not know that man will do wickedness on Earth.

And in 1 Samuel 15/11-35, after Saul had disobeyed God’s orders; God regret making him king on Israel, which means that God had no previous knowledge that Saul will disobey His orders.
And in Genesis 18/20,21 The Lord said: “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not I will know.” (Did God have to go down to see what had happened? Can’t He see from above the heavens?)

And in Exodus 12/1-13 it says that The Lord commanded the community of Israel when they used to live in Egypt to take some blood from the slaughtered lamb and splash it on their house doors so that when The Lord God passes over through Egypt to strike down every first born from the Egyptian people and their animals, He will see the blood as a sign that the house belongs to the Israelites, so He won’t strike it. That is why the festival is called the pass over, because the Lord will pass over the houses that belong to the Israelites without striking it. So the question is; does God need a sign to differentiate between the Egyptians and the Israelites?

ISLAM

One of God’s names and attributes in Islam is The Omniscient; The All- Knower; the one who has infinite knowledge, which means that He God Almighty knows everything, no matter how little or tiny it is. He Almighty knows the past, present and the future.
In Islam; words can’t explain how knowledgeable God is. Let’s see what the Qur’an says about God’s knowledge:

Surah no.2 Al-Baqara verse 235:
“And know that Allâh knows what is in your minds”
Surah Al-Baqara verse 77:
“Know they (Jews) not that Allâh knows what they conceal and what they reveal?”
Surah no.20 Taha verse 7:
“He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden.”
Surah no.6 Al-Anam verse3:
“And He is Allâh (to be worshipped Alone) in the heavens and on the earth, He knows what you conceal and what you reveal, and He knows what you earn (good or bad).”
Surah no.40 Gafir verse19:
“Allâh knows the fraud of the eyes, and all that the hearts conceal.”
Surah no.3 Al Imran verse 29:
“Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Whether you hide what is in your hearts or reveal it, Allâh knows it, and He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. And Allâh is Able to do all things.”
Surah no.6 Al Anam verse59, 60:
“And with Him are the keys of the Ghaib (all that is hidden), none knows them but He. And He knows whatever there is in (or on) the earth and in the sea; not a leaf falls, but he knows it. There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but is written in a Clear Record.”
“It is He, Who takes your souls by night (when you are asleep), and has knowledge of all that you have done by day, then he raises (wakes) you up again so that a term appointed (your life period) be fulfilled, then in the end unto Him will be your return. Then He will inform you what you used to do.”
Surah no.16 Ar-Rad verse 8-10:
“Allâh knows what every female bears, and by how much the wombs fall short (of their time or number) or exceed. Everything with Him is in (due) proportion.
(He is the) All-Knower of the seen and the unseen, The Most Great, The Most High.
It is the same (to Him) whether any of you conceal his speech or declare it openly, whether he be hid by night or go forth freely by day.”(Because He Almighty see and know everything)
Surah no.22 Al-Hajj verse 70:
“Know you not that Allâh knows all that is in heaven and on earth? Verily, it is (all) in the Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz). Verily! That is easy for Allâh.”

Surah no.49 Al-Hojourat verse 18:
“Verily, Allah knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is the All-Seer of what you do.”
Surah no.3 Al-Imran verse 5:
“Truly, nothing is hidden from Allâh, in the earth or in the heavens.”
Surah no. 4 Al-Nisaa verse 108:
“They may hide (their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (them) from Allâh, for He is with them (by His Knowledge), when they plot by night matters which HE does not approve. And ALLAH encompasses what they do”
Surah no.57 Al-Hadid verse 4:
“It is He Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days and then Istawâ (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). He knows what goes into the earth and what comes forth from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends thereto. And He is with you (by His Knowledge) where so ever you may be. And Allâh is the All-Seer of what you do.”
The last verse clearly shows that God does not need to come down from heaven to see
What His people were doing.
Abdullah Ibn Masoud; one of the companions of the prophet Mohammad peace be upon him said: “Between the earth and the first sky there is a distance of 500 years of travel and between each sky there is a distance of 500 years of travel (there are seven skies above us) and between the seventh sky and the chair; the same distance and between the chair and the water; the same distance and the thrown is on top of the water and Allah is on His thrown and He is aware of all of our acts”

10- Isn't God capable of doing everything?

Christianity& Judaism

Judges 1/19 says: “The Lord was with the men of Judah. They took possession of the hill country, but they were unable to drive the people from the plains, because they had iron chariots.”
If the biblical God is not capable of doing or knowing everything, why call Him God then?

ISLAM

The Qur’an says in many verses that God is capable of doing everything.
The following phrase has been repeated in the Qur’an more than 30 times:
“Allâh has power over all things”
“Allah is capable of doing everything” (Surah no. 2 Al-Baqara verse no. 20)
“If Allâh helps you, no one can overcome you” (Surah no.3 Al-Imran verse 160)

11-COULD GOD BE FOOLED?
Christianity& Judaism

Genesis 27/1-41 it says that when the prophet Isaac became old and was about to die; he wanted to bless his firstborn (Esau), so he ordered his son to go hunt and bring back some food so he could eat and then bless him. But Jacob the other son of Isaac and his mother heard the conversation and decided to deceive Isaac by preparing food for him and letting Jacob offer it to his father instead of Esau, pretending that he is Esau, and because Isaac was blind; he ate and then blessed Jacob thinking that he was Esau, and when Esau came back with the food for his father and they both found out that Jacob deceived them, Esau cried and asked his father to bless him too but Isaac said there was no more blessing left for him because Jacob has taken all the blessings (So funny). So the question is; if it was possible for Jacob to deceive or fool his blind father (Isaac), how could he possibly fool God? Because if blessings come from God, and God knew that Jacob was not the one meant to be blessed; why did Jacob receive the blessing then? This is one of the most absurd stories told in the Bible, don’t you agree?

ISLAM

According to Islam; there is no way God could be fooled or deceived.
The Qur’an says:
“They (think to) deceive Allâh and those who believe, while they only deceive themselves, and perceive (it) not!” (surah no.2 Al-Baqara verse 9)
“Verily, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allâh, but it is He Who deceives them. (Surah no.4 Al-Nisaa verse 142)
In Islam, Allah’s blessings never run out, He Almighty bestows His blessings on us every moment of our lives. He answers all our prayers. Nothing is comparable to His generosity, kindness and love for giving and providing.

12-Is God hopeless and helpless and in need of others?

Christianity& Judaism

Jeremiah 10/19-20 “Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous; but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.”
“My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken, My children are gone forth of me, and they are not. There is none to stretch forth my tent anymore and set up my curtains”
(This is what God said about himself)
Psalm 74:22 “Rise up, O God and defend your cause; remember how fools mock you all day long”
There are many verses in the bible that introduces God as a hopeless and helpless God who is always in need of someone to worship him and abide by his laws. Or who is always grieved and doesn’t know what to do or how to act.
We are going to talk more about Jeremiah 10/19-20 later on.

ISLAM

In Islam God is introduced as a strong self sustained God who does not need anything or anyone.
God Almighty says in the Qur’an: “O mankind! it is you who stand in need of Allâh, but Allâh is Rich (Free of all wants and needs), Worthy of all praise. ” (fatir verse 15)
“Allâh! Lâ ilahâ illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), Al-Hay (the Ever Living), Al-Qayoum” (Al-Imran verse 2)
Al-Qayoum is one of the names of Allah. it means that He is the One who stands by Himself and not in-need of others, while others can’t stand unless by Him.
Another name of Allah is Al-Samad which means The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures rely on and need and turns to in everything, while He doesn’t need anyone or anything.

13-Does God do evil to His people?

Christianity& Judaism

In Exodus 32/14 it says: “And the Lord repented of the evil which He thought to do unto His people.”
And in Jeremiah 18/8 it says: “I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.”

ISLAM

According to Islam it is not acceptable to believe that God do evil things to His people.
Muslims believe that God Almighty created this whole world for mankind’s benefit. He Almighty created for us all that exists (the sun, the moon, the sky, the sea, the rivers, the animals, the plants, the food) for our benefits. He also sent His messengers to guide us to the straight path and teach us right from wrong. All those favors that were bestowed upon us by God were to prove that God Almighty loves us and wants what is good for mankind. He wants us to be happy and comfortable, and He did not ask anything from us in return but to believe in Him, love Him and thank Him for all his favors and blessings. So after all this; it would be so rude and insulting to say or believe that God do evil things to His people.
The Qur’an indicates in many verses that God only wants what is good and beneficial for mankind and that evil comes from the people and not from God.
“Whatever good happens to you is from Allah, but whatever evil befalls you, is from yourself.” (Surah no.4 Al-Nisaa v.79)
“See you not that Allâh has subjected to you (mankind) all that is on the earth, and the ships that sail through the sea by His Command? He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except by His Leave. Verily, Allâh is, for mankind, full of Kindness, Most Merciful.”
(Surah no.22 Al-hag, v.65)

14- Does God deceive his prophets?

Christianity& Judaism

In Jeremiah 20/7 it says: “O Lord, You deceived me, and I was deceived.
Why would God deceive Jeremiah (one of His prophets)? And what stops Him from deceiving his people then, because if God was to deceive a prophet who is considered greater than any normal person and off course more righteous, less sinful and much closer to God; it would be easier for God to deceive any of His people then.

15- Does God send lying spirits in the mouths of the prophets to mislead them and mislead people?

Christianity& Judaism

And in 1Kings 22/23 it says: “So now the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours.”
And in 2 Chronicles 18/22 it also says: “So now the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours.”
These verses clearly state that the Biblical God inspires His prophets with lies.
So why would God do such a thing, won’t that be misleading to His prophets and His people? How will we ever get to trust a prophet that was sent by God if we know that God might inspire him with lies? And how will we ever know the truth from false?

ISLAM

Not one verse in the Qur’an says that God deceives his prophets or that he inspires them with lies. Such claims are absolutely absurd and make no sense at all.
The Qur’an says in many verses that God sends His prophets with only the truth to His people to guide them to the right path and not to mislead them. There are also many verses in the Qur’an were God Almighty commands us to say the truth and nothing but the truth, so it is far from God to command His people to do something and then contradicts Himself.

In Surah no. 15 Al- Hijr verse no.8 it says: “We send not the angels down except with the truth”
And in surah no. 33 Al-Ahzab verse no. 4 it says: “But Allâh says the truth, and He guides to the (Right) Way”
In surah no. 7 Al-Araf verse 43:
“Indeed, the Messengers of our Lord did come with the truth.”
And in verses 104-105:
“And Mûsa (Moses) said: "O Fir'aun (Pharaoh)! I am a Messenger from the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists). Proper it is for me that I say nothing concerning Allâh but the truth. Indeed I have come unto you from your Lord with a clear proof."

In Surah no.9 verse 33:
“It is He Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islâm)”
These were only some of the many verses mentioned in the Qur’an that say that God sends his messengers and his angels and his books with only the truth. A message that is not based on the truth could never be a divine message; in other words it can’t be attributed to God.

 16- Is God deaf?

Christianity& Judaism
Psalms 39/12 “Hear my prayer, O Lord, listen to my cry for help; be not Deaf to my weeping”

17- Does God help in times of trouble?
Does God forsake His people?
Does He not answer people’s prayers?

Christianity& Judaism

In Psalms 10/1 it says: “Why, O Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?”
Psalms 13/1 says: “How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?”
Psalms 77:7 “Will the Lord reject forever?”
Lamentation 5/20: “...why do u forsake us so long?”
Habakkuk 1/2 “how long Oh Lord; must I call for help but you don’t save…”
Job 19/67 “though I cry: I am wronged; I get no response. Though I call for help; there is no justice.”
Lamentations 3:8 “Also when I cry and shout, he shuts out my prayer.”
Lamentations 3:44 “you have covered yourself with a cloud, so that no prayer can get through”
Psalms 80:4 “O Lord God Almighty, how long will your anger smolder against the prayers of your people?”
Lamentations 3:18 “My hope in the Lord is gone”
Job 30:20 “I cry out to you O God but you do not answer. I stand up but you merely look at me”
The previously mentioned verses are repeated many times and if words mean something; these verses would mean one thing; that the biblical God does not help in times of trouble and He forsakes His people. He does not answer their prayers, and always rejecting them.

ISLAM

One of God’s names in Islam is the All-Hearer. This name has two meanings; the first meaning is that He Almighty hears every little tiny sound or voice in this universe no matter how unheard it is. He hears the sound that each leaf makes when it falls on the ground from a tree and hears the sound that is made from the footsteps of an ant in its hole under the ground. He hears the heartbeat of every creature and the whispers of every soul that exists at the same time. And the second meaning is that He Almighty hears our prayers as meaning to accept the prayers and grant us with what we ask for.
The prophet Mohammad heard some people saying prayers to God in a very loud voice so he told them: “you people are not praying to a deaf God; you are praying to a God who is an All hearer and near”. And in another day some of the companions of the prophet asked him about God; is He near so we should pray to him in a low voice or is He far so we should pray to Him in a loud voice? So God Almighty answered them back by revealing these verses: “And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near. I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright” (Surahno.2 Al-Baqara, v.186)
So According to Islam God is a loving God who always hears our prayers and stands beside us in times of trouble and not A God who is deaf and hears not our prayers as claimed by the bible.
In Islam; God is always there for His people, not in one verse in the Qur’an does it say that God has forsaken His people, yet it says in many verses that God is always there in times of trouble. Let’s see what The Qur’an and the prophet Mohammed say.
Surah no.27 al-Naml verse no. 62:
“Is not He (Allah) who responds to the distressed one, when he calls Him, and Who removes the evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after generations. Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Little is that you remember!”
Surah no 11 Hud verse 61:
“O my people! Worship Allâh, you have no other Ilâh (God) but Him. He brought you forth from the earth and settled you therein, then ask forgiveness of Him and turn to Him in repentance. Certainly, my Lord is Near, Responsive.”
Surah no.14 Ibrahim verse no. 34:
“And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the Blessings of Allâh, never will you be able to count them.”
Surah no. 6 El-Anaam verse 63-64:
“Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Who rescues you from the darkness of the land and the sea (dangers like storms), when you call upon Him in humility and in secret (saying): If He (Allâh) only saves us from this (danger), we shall truly be grateful." Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Allâh rescues you from it and from all (other) distresses, and yet you worship others besides Allâh."
Surah no.40 Ghafir verse 60:
And your Lord said: "Invoke Me (ask me), and I will respond to your (invocation).
And in Surat Al-Anbiyaa:
76.“And (remember) Nûh (Noah), when he cried (to Us) aforetime. We listened to his invocation and saved him and his family from great distress.”
83. And (remember) Ayûb (Job), when he cried to his Lord: "Verily, distress has seized me, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy."
84. So We answered his call, and We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his family to him (that he had lost), and the like thereof along with them, as a mercy from Ourselves and a Reminder for all who worship Us.”
87. And (remember) Dhan-Nûn (Jonah), when he went off in anger, and imagined that We shall not punish him (i.e. the calamites which had befallen him)! But he cried through the darkness (saying): Lâ ilâha illa Anta [none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allâh)], Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers."
88. So We answered his call, and delivered him from the distress.
89. And (remember) Zakariya (Zachariah), when he cried to his Lord: "O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors."
90. So We answered his call, and We bestowed upon him Yahya (John), and cured his wife (to bear a child) for him.”
In many verses in the Qur’an God refers to His Holy self by plural pronoun such us “We” or “Us” or “Ourselves” and this is called in the Arabic language and the Hebrew  as the plural of respect. So no one is to think that it means that there are more than one God speaking.

18- Is God Just or unjust?
Does He wrong people and treat them unjustly and without honesty?

Christianity& Judaism

Job 19/67 “then know that God has wronged me and drawn his net around me. Though I cry: I am wronged; I get no response. Though, I call for help. There is no justice.”
Job 31/6 “let God weigh me in honest scales and He will know that I am blameless”
Job 10:3 “Does it please you to oppress?”
Psalms 82/2 “How long will you judge unjustly”
Jeremiah 12:1 “You are always righteous O Lord when I bring a case before you, yet I would speak with you about your justice”
Let’s examine the bible and see if the pervious verses are correct or not. Does God really wrong people and treat them unjustly and without honesty?

The biblical God punishes the children for the sins of their fathers
Exodus 20/5 says: “… for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the
children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation…”
Exodus 34/7 says: “He (God) punishes the children and their children for the sin of
the fathers to the third and fourth generation.”
(Also see Numbers 14/18, Deuteronomy 5/9 and Isaiah 14/21)
So the question is; why? What did those children do? Why should they be punished
for something that they did not do? Don’t we all agree that this is considered
injustice?

Does God punish those who do good deeds instead of rewarding them?
1 Chronicles 13/9-10 says that God killed Uzza because he tried to save the Ark
of God from falling instead of rewarding him.

Handicapped are given unfair treatment
Leviticus 21/16-24 says that God forbids anyone who is blind or lame, disfigured
or deformed, or anyone with a crippled foot or hand, or anyone who has an eye
defect or any other defects to come near to present the offerings made to the Lord
by fire. Is it their fault that they were born that way? As we all know that no one
chooses to be born with a defect. So it would be unjust to treat them differently
than those who were born without any defects. I think we should all agree that
such laws could never be the laws of God, because the laws of God could never be
unjust. This simply proves that the bible is corrupted and tampered with, and it is
not the unchanged words of God because it contains many unjust laws.

Punishing a whole city for a sin that they did not do
1Chronicles 21/1-18 says that David ordered the fighting men to be counted;
which made God angry from him; so God decides to punish him so he sends a
plaque to kill 70,000 men and also sends an angel to destroy Jerusalem and the
people and when David saw what had happened; he said to God: “was it not I who
ordered the fighting men to be counted? I am the one who has sinned and done
wrong. These are but sheep. What have they done? O Lord my God, let your
hands fall upon me and my family, but do not let this plaque remain on your
people.”
Don’t we all agree that God could never do such an act; because such an act is
considered unjust.

WAS IT HIS FAULT?
Deuteronomy 23/2 says: “No one born of a forbidden marriage nor any of his
descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord, even down to the tenth generation.” (NIV)
“A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord, even to his tenth generation.”(KJV)
Again, the bible punishes those who were born of a forbidden marriage for the sin
of their parents. Was it their fault that they came to this world and found
themselves born of a forbidden marriage? Was it their fault that their parents
sinned? No one chooses his parents so it is not fair to punish a person for a
sin that he did not do. Besides, the Bible says that Perez who was born out of an incestuous relationship that happened between Judah and his daughter in law Tamar; is one of Jesus’ ancestors. (See the genealogy of Jesus in Luke 3/33). So it seems like the bible contradicts it self because Perez who is considered a bastard was not punished; yet he was honored greatly when God choose him to be one of the ancestors of Jesus (who is considered by Christians to be God), which is definitely greater than just entering the congregation or the assembly of the Lord. So should you, dear reader, call this double standards or contradiction in the so called “Book of God”, I will leave that up to you.

BOTH THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED ARE KILLED
Ezekiel 21/3 says: “this is what the Lord says: I am against you. I will draw my
sword from its scabbard and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked.”
Again, isn’t this considered injustice? Why would a merciful and just God punishes or kills or cuts off the righteous along with the wicked?

God punishes Solomon’s son instead of Solomon
1 Kings 11/9-13 mentions another story where the Biblical God punishes the son of Solomon instead of his father.
So as we can see that the Bible represents God as an unjust God who deals with His people without any kind of justice.

ISLAM

In Islam the situation is completely different. The Qur’an ascribes God as the Most Just        It says in many verses that God would never ever oppress His people. He Almighty deals justly with all people. And His laws and acts are the most just.
Let’s see what the Qur’an says:
“And Allah wants (wills) no injustice to the Alameen (mankind and all creatures)”
“Allah is never unjust to His slaves.” (surah no. 3 Al-Imran verses 108, 182)
“Surely! Allah oppresses not even as the weight of an atom.” (surah no. 4 Al-Nisaa verse 40)
“And they will not be dealt with with injustice even as to the extent of a fatila (A scalish thread in the long slit of a date-stone) (surah no. 4 verse 49)
The verse is saying that Allah will not deal in an unjust way with people at all, not even as tiny as the fatila.
“Truly! Allah oppresses not mankind at all.” (Surah no.10 Yunus verse 44)
“And your Lord treats no one with injustice.” (Surah no. 18 Al-Kahf verse 49)
“He is the Best of Judges” (yunus verse 109)
Abu zharr reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying that he reported it from his Lord, the Exalted and Glorious: “Verily I have made oppression unlawful for Me and for My servants too, so do not commit oppression” (Book of Muslim No.6247) The prophet Mohammed in this hadith said that God Almighty has forbid oppression on His Holy Self. This means that God would never oppress anyone.
Jabir bin Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger (May peace be upon him) said: Be on your guard against committing oppression, for oppression is a darkness on the Day of Resurrection…” part of hadith no.6248 in Muslim
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (May peace be upon him) as saying: “The claimants would get their claims on the Day of Resurrection so much so that the hornless sheep would get its claim from the horned sheep.” Hadith no. 6252.book of Muslim
Allah forbids oppression and warns people from oppressing one another and commands people to be just even with their enemies; so it is far from Him to command people with something and contradict it.
“Verily, Allâh enjoins Al-Adl (justice) and Al-Ihsân (kindness, goodness, etc) and giving to kith and kin (all that Allâh has ordered you to give them. wealth, visiting, looking after them, or any thing they need): and forbids Al-Fahshâ' (all evil deeds, e.g. illegal sexual acts, disobedience of parents, polytheism, to tell lies, to give false witness, to kill a life without right), and Al-Munkar (all that is prohibited by Islâm), and Al-Baghy (i.e. all kinds of oppression), He admonishes you, that you may take heed.” (Al-Nahl 90)
“Verily! Allâh commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due, and that when you judge between men; you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which He (Allâh) gives you! Truly, Allâh is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer.” (Al-Nisaa 58)
“O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allâh and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Well Acquainted with what you do.” (Al-Maida verse 8)
“And whenever you give your word (i.e. judge between men or give evidence, etc.), be just; even if a near relative is concerned, and fulfill the Covenant of Allâh, This He commands you, that you may remember.” (Al-Anam 152)
I had to mention many verses addressing this subject to emphasize on the important of justice in Islam, because injustice is the key to every bad deed. It is the cause for nations to fall or rise, and a society to prosper or vanish.

19- Does God want ignorance for mankind?
Does God want mankind to not know good from evil?

Christianity& Judaism
In Genesis 2/16-17 God commanded Adam to eat from any tree in the garden except one tree, this tree was the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And when Adam ate from the tree of knowledge; God punished him and kicked him out of heaven, just because Adam gained the knowledge of knowing good and bad.
Genesis 3/22 “and the Lord God said; the man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil.” That was Adam’s mistake, he sought knowledge, he was trying to know good from evil, right from wrong..
So the question is; if seeking knowledge and the ability to differentiate good from evil is a sin and if we are to be urged to stay ignorant, then how will we get to know God and worship him? How will we get to know what pleases Him, to do it, and what makes him angry to avoid doing it? How will we know righteousness from wickedness? How will God measure and judge us? Who is good and who is bad? Who will go to heaven and who will go to hell? And the most important; what is the reason for our creation?

ISLAM
In Islam the situation is different. Islam is the religion of knowledge. It commands and urges people to seek knowledge and learn as much as they can about everything in all the different aspects and professions in life and the most important; to learn the knowledge of good to abide by it and the knowledge of evil to avoid committing it and to be able to differentiate between righteousness and wickedness.
Seeking knowledge is one of the most important issues in Islam. That is why the first verses and the first words ever to be revealed from God to his messenger Mohammad was the word (Iqraa) which means read; commanding him to learn and seek knowledge.
And God Almighty in the Qur’an has favored those who have knowledge above everyone else and said that they are the ones who fear God the most and obey Him.
God said: “say: Are those who are knowledgeable equal to those who are not knowledgeable?" It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allâh's Signs and Verses)” (surah Al-Zumor verse 9)
“it is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allah. Verily, Allâh is All Mighty, Oft Forgiving.” (Fatir verse 28)
“Allah will exalt in degree those of you who believe and those who have been granted knowledge” (surah no. 58 Al-Mugadela verse 11)
“And say (O Mohammad): My Lord! increase me in knowledge” (surah no.20 Taha 114)
And the prophet Mohammad said: “seeking knowledge is obligatory on every Muslim”
He also said: “who ever takes or treads a path or a way to seek knowledge; because of it Allah will ease a way for him to heaven” narrated by Muslim, (1381 Riyad Assaleheen)
The prophet also said “He who goes forth in search of knowledge is in Allah’s path till he returns” (1385 Riyad Assaleheen)
And in another hadith he said: “The superiority of the knowledgeable (scholars) over just a devout worshipper is like the superiority of me over the most inferior amongst you. Then he said: Allah and His angels and the dwellers of the heavens and the earth and even the ant in its hole and the whale (in the sea) invoke blessings on him who teaches people goodness (righteousness, virtuousness, piousness)”
And in a part of another hadith; he peace be upon him said: that the angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge to show their gratitude and how pleased they are with what he is doing. And that the dwellers of the heavens and the earth ask forgiveness for the scholars.
As we can see that Islam urges Muslims to seek knowledge and learn and it honors scholars and teachers and knowledge seekers.
If we were to compare between what the bible said and what the Qur’an said, we will find that; according to the bible seeking knowledge and learning was Adam’s sin and curse. It was the cause of God’s wrath upon him and the cause of being kicked out of heaven. Yet in Islam and according to the Qur’an; knowledge was one of the best privileges and gifts that God gave Adam, it was the cause for Adam to be favored upon all the angels and all the other creatures.
The Qur’an mentioned in the beginning of surat no.2 Al-Baqara that when God told the angels that He will create mankind; the angels were surprised and said: “will You create on earth who do evil and shed blood while we glorify and praise You”, so God told them: “I know what you don’t know” then He taught Adam a knowledge that is beyond the Angels knowledge and He Almighty asked the angels a question but they knew not the answer and when He asked Adam the same question; Adam answered correctly due to the knowledge that God has granted him, so God commanded the Angels to honor him by prostrating (bowing down) to Adam as an act of respect. The Qur’an even shows us that knowledge was the cause of God’s forgiveness upon Adam. When Adam and Eve ate from the tree; God was angry at them, yet He wanted to teach them how to repent so He taught them a prayer to say and when they said it; He forgave them. All this shows that God urges people to seek knowledge and rewards them for it.
Adam and Eve’s prayer were:
“They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers." (surah no. 7 Alaraf v. 23)

20- Is God not merciful? Is He a Man of War?
Does He like the killing and destruction?
Is He a violent God?
Is God a destroying fire?

Christianity& Judaism

Psalm 77:8-9 “Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has He in anger shut up his tender mercies” and in different a version: “has He in anger withheld his compassion”
Job 7:21 “And why do you not pardon my transgression, and take away my iniquity?”
Zechariah 1:2 “How long will you not have mercy…”
Lamentations 3:42 “Your mercy was hidden by your anger. Slaying without pity”
Amos 9:1 “and I will slay the last of them with the sword”
Jeremiah 49:37 “saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them”
Jeremiah 19:9 “I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and daughters, and they will eat one another’s flesh during the stress of the siege imposed on them by the enemies who seek their lives”
Lamentations 2:20 Behold, O LORD, and consider to whom you have done this. Shall the women eat their offspring, the children that they cared for?”
Lamentations 2:21 “The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; you have slain them in the day of your anger; you have slaughtered them without pity.”
2 Kings 2/23-24 Says that God sends two bears to kill 42 children because they
made fun of Elisha’s bold head.
Ezekiel 21/3-5 Says: “This is what the lord says: I am against you. I will draw my sword from its scabbard and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked.
Because I am going to cut off the righteous and the wicked, my sword will be unsheathed against everyone from south to north. Then all people will know that I the Lord have drawn my sword from its scabbard; it will not return again”
Is this the mercy of the Biblical God; killing everyone from south to north? Even the righteous are not spared.

Children, Women, Animals & Everything That Breathes Are To Be Killed
1 Samuel 15/2-3 says that God ordered Saul to smite the Amalek by saying: (now go and smite the Amalek and utterly destroy all that they have and spare them not, but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass)
But Saul did not obey The Lord in everything; he did not destroy and kill everything. He spared the best of the sheep, oxen, fatlings, lambs and all that was good and did not utterly destroy everything. So the biblical God got mad and was grieved and repented because He made Saul king.
Don’t we all agree that God should be the most merciful, so why would he order Saul to kill the children, the women, the animals and everything that breathes?
Ezekiel 9:5-6 “Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women…”
And in Numbers 31/14-18 it says the same thing.
31/14-15 it says: (Moses was angry because they kept all the women alive)
31/17-18 says: (Moses commands the army officers and commanders to kill all the boys and every woman who slept with a man and to keep for themselves all the virgin girls.) and off course Moses can’t give such commands on his own, the Biblical God is the one who ordered him to do so, as the case for any biblical prophet:
“…have I come to attack and destroy this place without word from the Lord? The Lord himself told me to march against this country and destroy it” (2 Kings 18/25)
Deuteronomy 20/10-15 says: “when u march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace, if they accept and open their gates; all the people in it shall be subjected to forced labor and shall work for you (slaves). If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city, when the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it. As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves.”
Deuteronomy 20/16-18 says: “however, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance; do not leave alive anything that breathes, and completely destroy them.”
Joshua 6:21 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.”
Joshua 6:24 “And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein”
Joshua 8:8 “And it shall be, when ye have taken the city, that ye shall set the city on fire:
according to the commandment of the LORD shall ye do. See, I have commanded you”.
Judges 21:10 “Go and smite the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead. Put to the sword those living there including women and the children.”
Judges 21:11 “And this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man.”
Judges 21:12 “And they found among the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead four hundred young virgins, that had known no man by lying with any male: and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.”
Hebrews 12:29 “For our God is a destroying fire.”
It seems that the shedding of the blood must be done in order for God to be satisfied:
The Bible says:"without shedding of blood there is no remission." (Hebrews 9:22) And what confirms this is that Christianity claims that God had to send jesus to be crucified and killed on the cross in order for God to forgive the sins of mankind. Can’t just God forgive and be merciful without the blood shed?
It is so sad to find that the bible is full of stories that talk about God’s killing and destruction of nations, men, women, children, animals and everything that breathes, claiming that this is what God ordered his prophets and their followers to do to satisfy God. Don’t we all agree that God is The Most Merciful? So how could He be satisfied when the innocent people are being killed?
The verses that were mentioned above are only some of the many verses in the bible that speak about massacring and destruction. If anyone was to count the numbers of those nations or people who were killed in the bible; it is beyond any imagination.
And if anyone would examine history and look into the numbers of people who got killed for the sake of Christianity and the sake of the Christian church; it is indescribable.
H.P. Blavatsky said: “there has never been a religion in the annals of the world with such a bloody record as Christianity”
Bertrand Russell the British thinker on p.14 of his book (why I am not Christian) said:       “In the so called ages of faith, when men really did believe in Christian religion in all its completeness, there was the inquisition with its tortures, there were millions of unfortunate women burnt as witches and there was every kind of cruelty practiced upon all sorts of people in the name of religion”
After reading these verses mentioned above; I think any fair person would agree with me that the Biblical God has no mercy.

ISLAM
According to Islam words can’t explain enough how merciful God is. In the Qur’an God was mentioned as the most merciful and the most kind hundreds of times. In all of these verses, God keeps reminding His people that He Almighty is merciful, kind and oft pardoning and oft forgiving, so they would not lose hope in repentance and in getting another chance every time they commit a sin or make a mistake. The Qur’an shows in many verses that God has created mankind to love, honor, reward them and to be there for them and to be merciful with them, and not to destroy and kill them all the time as the bible says.
In surah no.2n Al-Baqara verse 143 it says:
“Truly, Allâh is full of kindness and Mercy towards mankind.”
In surah no.16 Al-Nahl verse 7:
“Truly, your Lord is full of Kindness, Most Merciful.”
These verses were mentioned repeatedly in the Qur’an.
In surah no.85 Al-Boroog verse14:
“And He id Oft-forgiving, Full of Love”
In surah no.3 Al-Nisaa verse 29:
“And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allâh is Most Merciful to you.

In surah no.6 Al-An-am verse 54:
“When those who believe in Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) come to you, say to them: "Salâmun 'Alaikum" (peace be on you); your Lord has written Mercy for Himself, so that, if any of you does evil in ignorance, and thereafter repents and does righteous good deeds (by obeying Allâh), then surely, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
In surah no.7 Al-A-raf verse156:
“My Mercy embraces all things.”
Surah no.15 Al-Hijr verse 49 says:
“Declare (O Muhammad ) unto My slaves, that truly, I am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most-Merciful”.
And in surah no. 13 Al-Raad verse 6 says:
“But verily, your Lord is full of Forgiveness for mankind in spite of their wrong-doing.”
And the prophet Mohamed peace be upon him said: “when Allah created the creature, He wrote in the book which is with Him over His throne: Verily My mercy predominates (or defeats) My wrath.” This hadith was narrated by Abu Hurairah in Bukhary and Muslim (Books of hadith; the hadith means the sayings and teachings of the prophet Mohammed peace be upon him)
And in another hadith narrated by Umar bin Al-khattab; he said: “there was a woman among the captives who were brought to Allah’s messenger (peace be upon him) that was running all over the place searching for someone, until she found a child, so she took him
and hugged him and breast fed him. So when the prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) saw this; he said to his companions: do you people think that this woman would ever throw her child in the fire? So they said no never. So the prophet said: Allah is more merciful to his slaves (people) than this woman to her child.”
And in another hadith the prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Verily Allah has prescribed Ihsan (mercy and kindness) towards everything. So when u kill (harmful things, like snakes, acorpions and poisonous insects), you must make sure that the killing is done in the best and proper manner and when u slaughter, make sure u slaughter in the best and proper manner. You must sharpen your knife to make it easy on the animal.”
In this hadith the prophet is teaching us to be merciful as much as we can, even with animals when we are about to slaughter them. A person must sharpen the knife and must make the slaughtering be quick and easy and painless to the animal as possible.
The prophet Mohammed even said that we are not allowed to torture anything with fire.
He also forbad Muslims to target animals with arrows or stones or any thing else (such as bullets now a days), unless it was for the intention of hunting for food. The prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) also told us that if we feed any living creature, we will be rewarded by God. He said: “if any Muslim plants a tree or a plant; each time anyone or any bird or any animal eats from it; this person will be rewarded.” Narrated by Bukhari, no. 2012.
The prophet Mohammed also urged us to have mercy on animals when he said: “while a person was walking on his way; he found a water well so he got down into it to drink because he was very thirsty, and after he came out and was about to leave; he saw a very thirsty dog, so the man said to himself: this dog is very thirsty just like I was, so he went down to the well and filled his leather sock with water and held the sock with his teeth until he climbed out of the well and he quenched the thirst of the dog. So Allah was pleased with his action and He forgave him. So the companions of the prophet asked: do we get rewarded when we show mercy and kindness to animals? So the prophet said: a reward is given in connection with every living creature.” Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim by Abu Hurairah.
This is how merciful God and His prophet and His religion.
And concerning the killing of women or children or animals in battles, there is not one verse in the Qur’an nor one hadith said by the prophet that says kill the women or the children or the animals. As a matter of fact; Islam teaches us the opposite. The soldiers were ordered by the prophet Mohammad peace be upon him not to kill women in battles nor children nor old men nor animals nor priests or religious men who dedicate there lives to worship, nor to cut a tree or to destroy a plant. And in a hadith that was narrated in the book of Bukhary, the prophet Mohammed saw a dead woman in the battle field, so he got very mad that she was killed and said: “this woman was not suppose to die”. Islam is truly the religion of mercy. If only people would give themselves a chance to read and know more about it.

21- Who is more truthful God or the devil?

Christianity& Judaism
According to the bible; the devil is more truthful than God.
In Genesis 2/17 the Lord commanded Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of
Knowledge of good and evil or else they “will surely die.”
The whole verse says: “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it; for in the day that you eat from it you shall surely die.”
In Genesis 3/3-4 the devil tells Eve to eat from the tree and not to worry and tells
her: “you will not surely die”
Guess what! Adam and Eve ate from the tree and they did not die, as a matter of
fact Adam lived for 930 years as it is mentioned in Genesis 5/5 it says: “and all the days that Adam lived were 930 years”
So as we can see that the bible made the devil more truthful than God.
How could anyone believe and accept such claims. And how could anyone accept
to worship a God who does not say the truth and is not capable of doing what He
said would happen.

ISLAM

The Qur’an says In Surat no. 3 AL- Nisaa verse no. 87 and 122:
“And who is truer in statement than Allah?” (No one)
“Allâh's Promise is the Truth, and whose words can be truer than the words of Allâh?”
(Of course no one)
I don’t think we need to say more.

22- Is God weak? Does He have weaknesses?
Is He subjected to injury and sickness?
Who is more powerful God or Jacob?
Is the Creator weaker than His creature?

Christianity& Judaism

1 Corithians1/25 “…the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength”
Jeremiah 10/19-20 “Woe is me for my hurt! My wound is grievous but I said, truly this is a grief and I must bear it.” (KJV)
“Woe to Me because of My injury! My wound is incurable! Yet I said to myself: this is my sickness and I must endure it” (NIV)
The previous verses attributes to God weakness and introduces Him as a weak God who can’t even bear his grief into an extent that He even cursed Himself, which only happens when a person feels helpless and not being able to solve his problems or bear his grief. It also indicates that the biblical God is subjected to injury and sickness.
And in Genesis 32/24-29 it is even worse, it says that God wrestled with Jacob, and Jacob defeated Him. It clearly indicates that the biblical God is weaker than humans. How could anyone think that the Creator is weaker than one of his creatures.

ISLAM

According to Islam; God is ascribed as The Most Powerful and The All-Mighty. One of His names is Al-Salam, which means that He is free from any defects or anything that befall humans. It is a blasphemy to attribute weakness to God or think that injury or sickness befalls Him or think that there is something that is more powerful than God. It does not even make sense to think that the Creator is weaker than one of His creatures. No sane person would accept such false allegations. Let’s see what the Qur’an says:
“All the power belongs to Allah.” (Surah no. 2 Al-Baqara verse 165)
“Verily! Your Lord is the All-strong, the All-Mighty.” (Surah no. 11 Hud verse 66)
“They said: “who is mightier than us in strength?” see they not that Allah, The One
who created them is mightier in strength than them?” (surah no.41 Fussilat verse 15)
“They have not estimated Allah with an estimation that befits Him, Verily! Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty.” (Surah no.22 Al-Hajj verse 74)
“And when Mûsa (Moses) came at the time and place appointed by Us, and his Lord spoke to him, he said: "O my Lord! Show me (Yourself), that I may look upon You." Allâh said: "You cannot see Me, but look upon the mountain if it stands still in its place then you shall see Me." So when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He made it collapse to dust, and Mûsa (Moses) fell down unconscious. Then when he recovered his senses he said: "Glory be to You, I turn to You in repentance and I am the first of the believers.” (Surah no.7 Al-A-raf verse 143)
This is what happened when God Almighty appeared to the mountain, so it is not even imaginable that God Almighty would wrestles with one of his creatures (Jacob). When ever I read in the Bible, I feel like I am reading a comic book that is full of absurd, funny, senseless, immoral and time wasting stories and not the Book of God.
The Qur’an also says:
Verily! Allâh grasps the heavens and the earth lest they move away from their places, and if they were to move away from their places, there is not one that could grasp them after Him. Truly, He is Ever Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.” (surah no.35 fatir, v.41)
And in surah no.22 Al-hag, v.65:
“See you not that Allâh has subjected to you (mankind) all that is on the earth, and the ships that sail through the sea by His Command? He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except by His Leave. Verily, Allâh is, for mankind, full of Kindness, Most Merciful.”

So would a God with such a great power be defeated by one of His creatures? No way, not a chance. But it seems that the Biblical God could get defeated easily, which proves to us that he is not a true God or else; the Bible is corrupted. So I will let u choose this one.

23-Is God an author of pornography?
Is God a pervert?
Does He urge people to commit adultery and incest and to do indecent things?

Christianity& Judaism

It is a big disgrace and a great insult how the Bible shamelessly introduces God as a pervert who always likes to speak dirty and always uses dirty perverted language and stories. Anyone who reads the bible will never be able to deny that it is full of dirty perverted pornographic stories that talk about sex and adultery and prostitution. No one can imagine how dirty it gets. No decent person can read it. Let’s see some of these stories and some of the dirty language that is used in the bible:

INCEST IN THE BIBLE
According to the New Collins Dictionary, incest means: “sexual intercourse between too closely related persons”

Incest between a father and his daughters:
The two daughters of the prophet Lot got him drunk and had sexual intercourse
with him, and out of this incestuous relationship the two daughters became
pregnant by their father, the older daughter had a son who was named Moab; he is
the father of the Moabites, and the younger daughter also had a son who was
named BenAmmi; he is the father of the Ammonites.
And even though incest is forbidden and those who commit incest are to be punished
and to be put to death as it is mentioned in Leviticus 18/6-25 and 20/12, yet the
Bible honors and rewards lot and his descendants instead of punishing him, as it is
shown in Deuteronomy 2/9-19, it shows that God has ordered the Israelites not to
harass or provoke the Moabites or the Ammonites or try to take their land
because he (God) will not give the Israelites possession of any land that belongs to
the Moabites or the Ammonites because he (God) has given it as a possession to
the descendants of Lot. So as we can simply see that the bible honors and rewards
those who commit incest instead of punishing them.
                                                                                      GENESIS 19/30-37
Incest between a father in law and his daughter in law:
Judah who is the father of the Jewish race, from whom we derive the word
Judaism, had sexual intercourse with his daughter in law Tamar and made her
pregnant, and out of this incestuous relationship; two twins were born, one of
them was named Perez and the other was named Zerah as it is mentioned in
                                                                                       GENESIS 38/15-30

So according to leviticus20/12 Judah and Tamar must be put to death, the verse
says: "if a man sleeps with his daughter in law, both of them must be put to
death” but yet none of them were put to death and none of them were punished.
And not just that, but the bible even honors and rewards them by making their son
Perez one of the ancestors of Jesus as it is mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus in
       Luke 3/33.
So as we can simply see, again, the bible honors and rewards those who
commit incest instead of punishing them. Besides; how could any Christian accept
or believe that one of the ancestors of Jesus was born from an incestuous
relationship? Shouldn’t we all agree that this would be a great insult to Jesus who
is considered by all Christians to be their God.
Besides doesn’t the bible say: A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the
Lord, even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the
       Lord.” (Deuteronomy 23/2) It seems that words or laws mean nothing in the bible;
       Everything is contradicting everything.

Incest between a son and his father’s concubine (wife)
Reuben the eldest son of Jacob (Israel), in the absence of his father, had a sexual
intercourse with his father’s wife Bilhah but yet when this incident was reported to
Jacob; he did not punish his son for his naughty behavior nor did the bible.
                                                                                     GENESIS 35/22

Another wholesale incest between a son and his father’s wives
"So they set up a tent for Absalom (one of King David's son) on the palace roof,
and in the site of everyone, Absalom went in and had intercourse with his
        father’s concubines (wives) "                              2 SAMUELS 16/2
Note that the word concubine is synonymous with the word wife, because in
Genesis 25/1 it says that keturah is the wife of Abraham and in 1 chronicles 1/32 it
says that keturah is the concubine of Abraham, which proves that the word
concubine is synonymous with the word wife, unless it is a contradiction in the so
    called the book of God.

Incest and Rape between a brother and his sister
…he took hold of her (Thamar his sister) and said unto her, come lie with me
(Have sex with me) my sister. And she answered him: nay my brother (Ammon,
one of David's sons) do not force me… but he would not listen to her, and since he
was stronger than she was, he over powered her and raped her”
                                                                                     2 SAMUEL 13/10-14
Incestuous marriage between a nephew and his aunt
Even though it is forbidden for a person to have sexual relationship with his aunt as
mentioned in Leviticus 18/12 and 20/19; yet the bible tells us that Amram got
married to his aunt. And not just that but the bible even honors and reward him by
making him the father of the prophet Moses instead of punishing him.
                                                                                        EXODUS 6/20
ADULTERY & PORNOGRAPHY
·        Samson had sex with a whore in Gaza
                                                                            JUDGES 16/1
·        David commits adultery with Bath Sheba the wife of Uriah (one of his commanders in the army, while Uriah is away fighting for him) after he saw her taking a bath and he gets her pregnant.                                     2 SAMUEL 11/2-5
·        And not just that but he (David) even wickedly caused the death of Uriah
                                                                           2 SAMUEL 11/6-17
·        Judah tells his son Onan to go and have sex with his brothers widow (Tamar), so he went and had sex with her but he let the semen (seed) spill on the ground so that there would be no children. Please read the whole story for your self and see how shamelessly it was described in the bible. And ever since then; such an act is called Onanism because it was first attributed to Onan. (Look up the word onanism in the dictionary)                                               GENESIS 38/8-9
·        The two whore sisters Ahola and Aholiba are competing with each other in prostitution. No one would imagine how dirty and shamelessly their story was told in the bible. No decent and respectful person could ever be able to read their story.
                                                                      EZEKIEL 23/1-46
·        “And he (Noah) drank of the wine, and was drunk; and he lay naked within his tent.”
                                                                      GENISIS 9/21
·        “And he (Saul) stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night.”
                                                                       1 SAMUEL 19/25
·        “How glorious was the king of Israel (David) today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself.” And in different bible version; it says: “disrobing in the sight of the slave girls of his servant as any vulgar fellow would.”
                                                                       2 SAMUEL 6/20
·        “And the Lord said, like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years…” (can you imagine someone walking naked & barefooted for 3 years)
·        “Young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.”                                                ISAIAH 20/3-4

·        Does God act like a stripper?
In this coming verse the Biblical God even goes stripped and naked.
Micah 1/8 “I will go stripped and naked.” Can you imagine this?
Most of the bible commentaries claim that these were the words of Micah, which I believe is not true. These were the words of the Biblical God, especially when the commentators agree that verses 6 and 7 were the words of God. The reader would have to decide for himself. Then again, whether these were God’s words or Micah’s, it is still inappropriate.

·        The biblical God exhibited his back parts to Moses
In Exodus 33/23 the bible shamelessly claims that God exhibited his back parts to Moses. “I will remove my hands, and you shall see my back parts” KJV.
Many versions of the bible have omitted the word “parts” because it was very obvious what it indicates and just kept the word “back”.
The following bibles uses “back parts”:
King James version, American King James bible, Douay-Rheims bible, Webster’s bible, Young’s Literal bible and others.
What did the bible really mean by “back parts”? Again, I would leave that up to the reader. But I know for sure that if someone asks me if I would you like to see his back parts, I would definitely say: no thank you.

·        Does God order people to get married to whores?
And in Hosea 1/2 “when the lord began to speak to Hosea he said to him: go take
to yourself an adulterous wife and children of unfaithfulness”
And in Hosea 3/1 again “the lord said to me: go show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another and is an adulteress.”

·        Does God forces women to be raped or become prostitutes?
2Samuel 12:10 “The Lord said to David: because you despised me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife. I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor and he shall lie with them in the sight of the sun”
Again in Amos 7:16 God said to Amaziah “your wife shall be a harlot in the city”
Jeremiah 8:9 “I will give their wives unto others”
There are many more various dirty and perverted stories in the bible that won’t be suitable for anyone to read, so refer to it if u wish, but be informed that the bible uses very dirty and filthy language in these stories. Such stories could be found in the books listed below:

The Plain Truth magazine, a Christian publication of the world church of tomorrow, October 1977 says: “Reading bible stories to children can also open up all sorts of opportunities to discuss the morality of sex. An expurgated bible might get an x-rated from some sensors.”
Bertrand Russell on p. 14 of his book (why I am not Christian) said: “I say it deliberately that the Christian religion, as organized in its churches has been and still is the principal enemy of moral progress in the world”
George Bernard Shaw, the British thinker said that the bible is “the most dangerous book on earth. Keep it under lock and key, your children must not have access to it.”
So after all, and after reading all these Bible verses, I am sure we all know why such comments were issued about the Bible. It is truly a dangerous book. No father would let his children read it. Picture a father from a respectable and decent family reading these filthy stories to his daughter, or a young man reading it to his mother.
So the question is; how could anyone dare attributes such dirty, filthy and perverted stories to God? Is God the author of this pornography? And what is the morality from such dirty stories other than urging people to commit incest, adultery and rape.

ISLAM

According to the Qur’an things are different. There is not one verse in the Qur’an that uses any dirty words or dirty language. The Qur’an uses the most respectable words and language. Muslims would never accept any of the stories that were mentioned in the Bible to be attributed to God Almighty. And no book that contains such dirty, perverted, profane language should ever be attributed to God.
This is how the Qur’an described the words of God:
“Indeed it is a Noble Quran” (Surah 57 Alwakea v.77)
“This is a Glorious Qur'ân” (Surah 85 Al-borouj v.21)
“And verily, it is an honorable respected Book (because it is Allâh's Speech.)
Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise.” (Fussilat 41-42)
“Allâh has sent down the best statement, a Book (this Qur'ân), its parts resembling each other in goodness and truth, oft-repeated. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (when they recite it or hear it). Then their skins and their hearts soften to the remembrance of Allâh. That is the guidance of Allâh.” Surah no.39 Al-Zumor verse 23
“Verily, this Qur'ân guides to that which is most right” (Surah 17 Al-esraa v.9)
“By the Quran that is characterized by wisdom” (Surah 36 Yaseen v.2)
I am sure everyone would agree that a Glorious, Noble, Honorable, respectable Quran that is characterized by wisdom and guides people to the most right should never contain any profanity or dirty and filthy language, as in the case of the Bible.
And the prophet Mohammed said that God Almighty does not like any bad or obscene words or language, and He Almighty does not like those who speak bad or obscene words or language. The prophet also said that God is Bashful and He almighty likes Bashfulness and modesty. There are many verses in the Qur’an and many Ahadith (sayings of the prophet) that teaches Muslims to be bashful and act in a modest and pious way. That is why If a Muslim wants to take a shower (especially when they used to do it out in the open in the old days), he was taught to cover himself even if he was alone in the open. And when the prophet’s companions asked: why would a person cover himself when there is no one around, he said: God is bashful and He deserves from us to be bashful towards Him Almighty more than anyone else. So after all, I think everyone would agree that a bashful God would never ever reveal or send a Book to His people that is full of obscene and dirty perverted language or pornographic stories. This proves that the bible could never be the true unchanged words of God, due to the dirty perverted language that is in it. On the other hand; if we were to examine the language of the Qur’an, we will find out that it is very modest and
respectable, and the stories in it are moralistic and beneficial. And as a proof; let’s compare between the language of the Qur’an and the language of the bible in one of the same stories that was mentioned in both books:
When the two books talked about the story of Joseph and his master’s wife and how she wanted him to commit adultery with her, the bible uses the word “lie with me”, some versions use “sleep with me” and others use “have sex with me” and in the Arabic bible it uses only one word “dageeny” which means sleep with me.
The verse from the Bible reads:
Genesis 39:7: “And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.” Also see verses 12 and 14
But when the Qur’an told the story, it used the word (hayta lak) which means (come) and that’s it. This is the only word the Qur’an used.
“And she, in whose house he was, sought to seduce him (to do an evil act), she closed the doors and said: "Come on, O you." verse 23 in surat Yusuf
And here is another story:
When Mary was told by the angel Gabriel that she will be pregnant and will give birth to a child named Jesus, She said:  “O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?”
So the angel Gabriel said:
According to the Bible:
“The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee.”
So the question is; how exactly should we understand “the Holy Ghost shall come upon thee”? Is the bible trying to say that the Holy Ghost slept with Mary or something? Isn’t that what it sounded like when reading this verse in the bible?
According to the Qur’an:
The angel said: “so (it will be) for Allah creates what He wills. When He decreed something, He only says to it: “Be” and it is.” Surah no.3 verse 47
And in another verse: she said (Mary): “how can I have a son when no man has touched me nor am I unchaste?” the angel said: “so it will be, your Lord said: that is easy for Me (Allah), and we wish to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from us, and is a matter (already) decreed. (By Allah)” surah no.19 verse 20 & 21
So which version would you people prefer to read to your daughters, the biblical or the Qur’anic version? I think anyone would agree that the Qur’an’s language and style is more unique and respectable and modest.
As we said before that this dirty perverted language and those filthy stories about adultery, incest and pornography, which are mentioned in the bible, will not benefit mankind in anyway. Yet it will aggravate mankind’s lust and desire for sex and pornography, and will eventually lead to committing adultery, incest and doing filthy things that will cause the spread of many diseases and the increase of unlawful born babies (bastards), Not to forget to mention that, in many conservative societies, women end up killing those unlawful babies, and sometimes families end up killing those pregnant women before giving birth to cover up for such a disgrace, according to their beliefs and traditions. As for liberal countries; the mothers will decide to keep their unlawful babies and suffer for the rest of their lives trying to raise their children alone without the support of their fathers, specially when the fathers want nothing to do with those children, or in many cases the mother don’t even know who the father of her child is, specially when she has committed adultery with many men at the same period of time. There is even a talk show, I am sure most of you know about, that is specialized in these issues in America, the show tries to help the mothers to find the fathers of their children, it is called the Maury pokovitch show.
It is a well known fact that, in the American and the European societies, the children that are born of an unlawful relationship (bastards) are far more than the lawfully born children, and the relationships that are based on lawful marriage are far less than relationships that are based on unlawful ones. In some places it is even very rare to find married couples. Getting married and having a family and being committed to a family and responsible for it might not be an important issue to many people who live in America or Europe, or shall we say Christian countries. Yet in Islam and in Muslim countries that abide by the rules and regulations of Islam the situation is different. The issue of creating a family based on lawful marriage and sharing of responsibilities and commitments and bringing up well breaded, well mannered, well educated generations who are familiar with all the good morals and high virtues and are familiar with right and wrong, in order to build a good, clean and suitable society and make the Earth a better place for people to live in; is a very important issue in Islam. That is why Islam forbids adultery and incest and all types of pornography and anything that leads to it.
God Almighty said: And do not come near adultery. Verily, it is a Fâhishah (a great dirty sin), and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allâh forgives him).” (surat Al-Israa verse 32)
And the prophet Mohammad said: “no one of you should meet a woman in privacy unless she is accompanied by a mahram. (mahram means; one of her first degree relatives who is a male)” (no.1629 in Riyad Assaleheen), because it leads to adultery. And that is why there are strict rules when it comes to men and women socializing together. And that is why the Muslim women are commanded to dress up in a respectable and modest way, in dresses that cover their hair and their entire bodies to protect them from the evil eyes that look upon them, and reduce the powerful, lustful feeling and desire that takes control of every man when he sees a beautiful woman in front of him. And that is why Allah commanded the believers (men and women) to control what they look at:
“Tell the believing men to lower their sights (as meaning; not to look at women or forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.). That is purer for them. Verily, Allâh is All-Aware of what they do.
And tell the believing women to lower their sights (as meaning; not to look at men or forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.)”
(Al-Noor v.30-31)
For a person to keep his or her virginity and save it until marriage and not commit adultery is very important in Islam. For a Muslim woman to lose her virginity is as losing her honor and dignity. But for an 18 year old American or European girl who is still a virgin is like a rare phenomenon. She becomes the joke of everyone, just because she is a virgin. The whole community laughs at her and criticizes her and challenges her until she loses her virginity. For a man and a woman to commit adultery in a non-Muslim society is like eating and drinking. It is something that is very normal and acceptable and whoever does besides that is considered abnormal. And all the bible has to offer to those Christians was dirty stories about adultery and incest and pornography that aggravate their sexual desires further; rather than curbing or controlling it. How many times have we read about priests or church fathers getting caught committing adultery inside the church itself or even in a motel? Yet who can blame them, they read the bible a lot. I remember one very funny story about a very famous Christian scholar in America; his name is James swagart. He was participating in a debate against a well known Muslim scholar, and he testified publicly that he receives the Holy Spirit all the time and that God inspires him, and then he was caught a couple of weeks later with a prostitute in a motel. So I wonder did his God inspire him to do that?
I believe that the only reason many people practice Christianity is because Christianity compromises with them. It changes its skin all the time just to suit the different types of people and the different mentalities, even if it lead to changing everything that Jesus taught. For example, homosexuality is forbidden in Christianity and considered a big crime that needs punishment, yet we find churches in many Christian countries that are specialized in marrying homosexuals. Alcohol is forbidden; yet Christians drink it inside the church. Christian Women are commanded to cover there hair and dress decently; yet they walk in the church half dressed. And life goes on.
I don’t expect anyone to understand what I am trying to say except those who are familiar with the words: good morals, high virtues, respect, modesty, piousness, righteousness and honor.

24-Does God command people to do filthy things?

Ezekiel 4:12-15 “And you shall eat it as barley cakes and you shall bake it with dung that comes out of man in their sight….
Then said I, Oh Lord GOD! Behold, my soul has not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
Then the Lord said to me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and you shall prepare thy bread therewith.”
2King 18:27 “But Rabshakeh said unto them has he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?”
“…will have to eat their own filth and drink their own urine” (NIV)

ISLAM

According to Islam; for someone to eat his own dung and drink his own piss is very filthy. God Almighty would never command His people to do such a nasty thing. Islam commands people to be clean and to purify themselves from any dirtiness or impurity.
“Say: Nay. Allah never commands what is indecent. Do you say of Allah what you know not?” (Al-Araf 28)
In surat Al-Maida v.4, 6:
They ask you (O Muhammad) what is lawful for them (as food ). Say: "Lawful unto you are Attayyibât [all kind of Halâl (lawful good) foods which Allâh has made lawful (meat of slaughtered edible animals, milk products, fats, vegetables and fruits, seeds and so on)…”
“...Allâh does not want to place you in difficulty, but He wants to purify you, and to complete His Favor on you that you may be thankful.”
As we can see; these verses never said anything about eating our dung or drinking our piss.

25- Does God command people to steal?

Christianity& Judaism

Exodus 11 and 12 tell us the story of the people of Israel before they left Egypt. God told Moses to command them to take some gold and silver articles from their neighbors; pretending that they will borrow it and return it back, and then take it and go. So they obeyed God’s commands and took the gold and the silver and ran away. So in this story it is obvious that the Biblical God commanded people to steal. So the question is; what kind of God would command people to steal and what moral do we learn from this story except urging people to steal.
No wonder why Israelites have been stealing lands from the Palestinians and other nations for centuries now.

ISLAM

In Islam such claims are unacceptable. God Almighty would never order people to steal; especially when He is the One who forbids it:
Cut off (from the wrist joint) the (right) hand of the thief, male or female, as a recompense for that which they committed, a punishment by way of example from Allâh. And Allâh is All-Powerful, AllWise.” (Al-Maida verse 38)
“Verily! Allâh commands that you should render back the trusts (the things we have that belong to others) to those, to whom they are due” (Al-nisaa verse 58)
“It does not befit a Prophet to steal from the booty, and whosoever does so, he shall bring forth on the Day of Resurrection that which he took (illegally). Then every person shall be paid in full what he has earned, - and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.” (Al-Imran verse.161)
The prophet Mohammad peace be upon him said: “I swear by The One whom my soul is in His hand; even if my daughter Fatima steals I will cut her hands”
The prophet of Islam said: “beware of stealing” and he used to ask his companions to give him an oath not to steal.
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: “Let there be the curse of Allah upon the thief who steals an egg and his hand is cut off, and steals a rope and his hand is cut off.”
Aishah, the prophet’s wife (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Whoever usurps unlawfully even a hand span of land a collar measuring seven times (this) land will be placed around his neck on the Day of Resurrection" (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`as (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: A man named Kirkirah, who was in charge of the personal effects of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) passed away and the Prophet (PBUH) said, "He is in the (Hell) Fire.'' Some people went to his house looking for its cause and found there a cloak that he had stolen.(Al-Bukhari)
please note that when the prophet said: he is in hell fire; it does not mean that he will suffer eternal punishment in hell, yet it means that he will be punished for a while only until he is purified from his sins then he will enter heaven by Gods will. According to Islam, no one deserves eternal damnation no matter how many sins he has committed, except for disbelievers and polytheists; only they deserve eternal punishment in hell, because they disbelieved, and then again it is in the hands of Allah to pardon them.
It is narrated on the authority of 'Umar bin Khattab: that when it was the day of Khaibar (one of the battles) a party of Companions of the Apostle (may peace be upon him) came there and said: So and so is a martyr, till they happened to pass by a man and said: So and so is a martyr. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah remarked: Nay, not so verily, I have seen him in the Fire for the garment or cloak that he had stolen from the booty, Then the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Umar son of Khattab, go and announce to the people that none but the believers shall enter Paradise. He ('Umar b. Khattab) narrated: I went out and proclaimed: Verily none but the believers would enter Paradise.” (Muslim)
So after all; how could someone claim that God command people to steal?

26- Is there anything that could contain God?

Christianity& Judaism

Even though the bible says in 2 Chronicles: 2/6 “since the heavens, even the highest heavens cannot contain Him (God)” which shows that nothing can contain God, yet the bible contradicts itself, because in Genesis 3/8 it says: “then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as He was walking in the garden in the cool of he day” which means that the garden contained Him.

ISLAM

According to Islam; nothing contains God. He Almighty is greater than everything. The Qur’an confirms that God is above the heavens on His throne and that His korsi (chair) is bigger than the heavens and the earth:
“The Most Beneficent (Allâh) Istawâ (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty).” (Taha verse 5)
“His Kursî extends over the heavens and the earth” (Baqara 255) and the kursi is just the place where God puts His Holy Feet as said by Ibn Abbas, the prophets companion.
How could He almighty be contained by a garden when He holds the heavens and the earth in His hands:
“Verily! Allah grasps the heavens and the earth lest they move away from their places, and if they were to move away from their places, there is not one that could grasp them besides Him. Truly, He is Ever Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.” (Surah no35 verse41)
“They made not a just estimate of Allâh such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified is He, and High is He above all that they associate as partners with Him” (surah no.39 verse 67)

27-Is God foolish? Does He do foolish things?
Is He childish? Does He whistles?

Christianity& Judaism

1Corinthians 1/25 “for the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom”
This verse indicates that according to Christianity, God commits foolishness.
The bible even gave an example in the following verse:
Isaiah 5/26 says: “He whistles for those at the end of the earth”
How childish of the Biblical God to do this.
Would a respectful owner of a big company whistles to his employees who are at the end of the company to make them come to him?

ISLAM

What kind of a fool would think that God commits foolishness? In Islam this is considered a great insult and a blasphemy against God Almighty. Does it make sense to say that the Most High, the Most Great, the Most Wise, the Creator of wisdom commits foolishness? Foolishness comes from the lack of maturity, the lack of wisdom, the lack of knowledge, the lack of seriousness, the lack of morality, the inability to do or say what is right or sometimes the lake of respect. And God Almighty is far from all that.
The Qur’an says:
“My Lord is on the straight Path” (Houd verse 56)
The interpretation of this verse is that God is perfect and unique in everyway. He is absolutely free from any defects. To Him belongs the complete and perfect knowledge and wisdom. His words are the most reliable, the most moralistic, the most serious and the most beneficial to mankind. His acts make the most perfect sense. His teachings are the most high and sublime in virtues. His laws and regulations are the most perfect and the most suitable for mankind. (Please note that in many cases the English translation of the Qur’an lacks to give the real meaning of the original Arabic text. This is because the Arabic language is very rich and a word could mean many things, and in some cases some words does not have an English translation. When reading the translation of the Qur’an; a person must go back to one of the reliable books of interpretation to be able to understand it.
The Qur’an also says:
“Verily! This Qur'ân is the Word of fasl (fasl means truth, it is the word that separates the truth and seriousness from falsehood and foolishness) and it is not for hazl (hazl is against seriousness) (surah no. 86 Al-Tarek verse 13,14)
And in verse 84 in Surat Al-Israa, it says:
Say (O Muhammad to mankind): "Each one does according to Shakilatih”
Shakilatih means nature, essence, qualities, and characteristics and so on.
And when it comes to God’s nature and essence and qualities; it’s all good and perfect. So when He acts; He acts according to His perfect wisdom and perfect knowledge. So there is no place for foolishness.

28-Does God act like a drunken man?

Christianity& Judaism

In Psalm 78:65 “Then the LORD awoke as one out of sleep, as a man wakes from the stupor of wine”

ISLAM

Any sane and respectful person would agree that it is a great insult and disrespect to describe God as a drunken man who awakes from the stupor of wine or make the slightest similarity between God and a drunken man. According to Islam It is a blasphemy to say such things or make such similarities.
In Islam we only ascribe God with what befits His Holiness and greatness and perfection and uniqueness. And when we give examples about God’s attributes and Qualities; we only give good, respectable and suitable examples. We are not allowed to give bad or negative examples or examples that make Him similar to anyone or anything:
“So don’t give examples (similitude) for Allah (as there is nothing similar to Him, nor He resembles anything). Truly Allah knows and you know not.” (Alnahl v.74)
“And to Allah belongs the highest and sublime description” (Al-Nahl, verse 60)
“His is the highest and the most exalted description in the heavens and the earth; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.” (Al-Room verse 27)
“There is nothing like Him, and he is the All-hearer, the All-seer.” (Al-Shoura verse 11)
“And there is none equal or comparable to Him” (Al-Ikhlas verse 4)
“And to Allah belongs all the Beautiful names” (Al-A-raf 180)
“Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, so worship Him (Alone) and be constant and patient in His worship. Do you know of any who is similar to Him?”
(Mariam 65)

29- Does God take a form of a man?

Christianity& Judaism

In Genesis 32/34 says that Jacob wrestled with “a man” until daybreak, and verse 28 says he had “struggled with God” and in verse 30, Jacob said he had “seen God face to face.” So these verses indicate that God took on the form of a man.

Genesis 3/8 says that God was walking in the garden in the cool of the day. So the question is; how exactly was God walking in the garden? This verse indicates that He took a form of a man too.
It is also known to everyone that Christianity claims that God was incarnated into Jesus’ body. That is why they call him God, and say that he is 100 % God and 100 % human. They say that he has two natures and two wills, the nature and will of a god, and the nature and the will of a human.
How could God, who is so perfect, take the form of a human, who is imperfect?

30-Does God act or behave like animals?
Are there any resemblances between Him and animals ?

Christianity & Judaism

In the following verses, the Bible shamelessly attributes to God some animal characteristics. Let us see how God is ascribed in the Bible:

31-Deos God roar like a lion?

Hosea 11/10 says: “They will follow the Lord, He will roar like a lion. When He roars..”
Jeremiah 25/30 says: “The Lord will roar from high, He will thunder from his Holy dwelling and roar mightily against his land.” (Can anyone imagine this?)
It is a great disappointment how shamelessly the bible ascribes God with some of the same qualities or acts that are ascribed to animals.
And for those who think that this verse might be some kind of a compliment to God; I say you are wrong. Zephaniah 3:1-3 shows that when someone is described as to roar like a lion it is meant to be an insult and not a compliment.
Let’s see how else God is described in the bible:

31- Does God howl like a Jackal?
Micah 1:8 “I will howl like a jackal and moan like an owl” NIV
Jackal: according to the dictionary; it is a wild animal resembling a dog with long legs, large ears and a bushy tail.

32- Does God moan like an owl?
Micah 1:8 “I will howl like a jackal and moan like an owl” NIV

33- Does God wail like dragons?
Micah 1:8 “I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.” KJV

34-Is God a moth?
Hosea 5:12 “Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and like rot to the people of Judah.”

35-Is God like a bear?
Hosea 13:7-8I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps…”

36-Is God like a leopard?
Hosea 13:7-8 “as a leopard by the way will I observe them”

37-Is God a fungus?
Hosea 5:12 “Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and like rot to the people of Judah.”
The pre mentioned verses are some of the many verses in the Bible that describes God with descriptions that do not suit Him. So the question is; did God really say all this about Himself? Are these His Holy words? Is this how the Bible glorifies God?

ISLAM

First; in Islam God does not take a form of a Human, because how could the Most High, the Most Exalted, the Most perfect, the Most Unique, the Most Great, the Most Glorious, the Most Powerful, the Ever Living, the Immortal, the one free from any defects takes the form of a human who is weak, imperfect, mortal and full of defects?
Second; what type of a religion and what type of people would describe God Almighty in such a way or make any resemblance between God and animals? If someone was to describe his God to us by saying that He roars like a lion, howls like a jackal, moans like an owl or even wails like a dragon, or describe him like a bear, a leopard, a moth or describe Him as rot or say that God acts or behaves in a way that is similar to animals; would that be considered as a compliment? Would it be convincing to us to worship such a God or even respect Him and respect His Religion and His Book? I don’t know about you, but according to Islam; ascribing God with such descriptions is a great insult and a blasphemy. Such descriptions do not befit God’s Greatness and Holiness. As we said before making similarities between God and humans is not acceptable in Islam; so imagine making resemblances between Him Almighty and animals.
The Qur’an says:
“Glorified be Allâh above all that they attribute to Him!” (Surah no.23 Al-momenon v. 91)
“Glorified be Allâh, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above what they attribute to Him!”
(Surah no.21Al-anbiaa v.22)
“Far is He from what they ascribe Him with” (Surah 6 Al-anam v.100)
“Glorified is Allâh! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him!” (Surah 37 Alsaffat v.159)
“They did not estimate God with an estimation that befits Him”
“So don’t give examples (similitude) for Allah (as there is nothing similar to Him, nor does He resembles anything). Truly Allah knows and you know not.” (Surah 16 Alnahl v.74)
“And to Allah belongs the highest and sublime descriptions” (Surah 16 Al-Nahl, verse 60)
“His is the highest and the most exalted description in the heavens and the earth; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.” (Al-Room verse 27)

“There is nothing like Him, and he is the All-hearer, the All-seer.” (Al-Shoura verse 11)
“And there is none co-equal or comparable to Him” (Al-Ikhlas verse 4)
“And to Allah belongs all the Beautiful names” (Al-araf 180)
“Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, so worship Him (Alone) and be constant and patient in His worship. Do you know of any who is similar to Him?”
(Mariam 65)

39- Does God weep and wail?

Christianity& Judaism

Micah 1/8 “because of this I will weep and wail”

40-Does God cry and gasp and pant like a woman in childbirth?

Isaiah 42/13-14 says: “but now, like a woman in childbirth, I cry out, I gasp and pant.”
Did God write this about His Holyness? Are these the words of God? Is this the concept of God in Christianity? How could anyone worship a God who is weak as a woman who cries, gasps and pants during childbirth, and why call him God?
Such attributes do not befit the true God. It is so disrespectful how shamelessly the bible ascribes to God very bad attributes.
As we can see that the Biblical God is as weak as a woman who cries, gasp, and pant during her childbirth. Again what a nice way to glorify God?

ISLAM

Again in Islam it is a blasphemy to ascribe God with such disrespectful and insulting attributes. Such attributes could never befit the Holiness and Greatness of God. His Majesty is far from being ascribed with such attributes. What would you do dear reader if someone was to tell you that your father weeps and wails and cries and gasp and pant like a woman in childbirth? Would u consider this phrase to be a complementary phrase or would you consider it to be an insulting phrase? Again such attributes are considered to be a great insult to God. It does not need a hero to know what type of attributes befits God and what type of attributes does not befit Him. The Qur’an only ascribes God Almighty with the attributes that befits His majesty, greatness, uniqueness and glory. Let’s see some of the verses in the Qur’an:
“And to Allah belongs the highest and sublime description” (Al-Nahl, verse 60).
“His is the highest and the most exalted description in the heavens and the earth; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.” (Al-Room verse 27).
“He is Allah, The only true God who deserves to be worshipped, The All-Knower of the unseen. He is The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
He is Allah, The only true God who deserves to be worshipped, the King, the Holy, the One Free from any defects, the Giver of security, the Watcher over His creatures, the All-Mighty,

the Compeller, the Supreme, Glory be to Allah, High is He above all that they associate as partners with Him
He is Allah The Creator, the Inventor of All things, the Bestower of forms, to Him belongs the Best names, all that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.” (Al-Hashr verses 22-24)
“The Most Great, The Most High.” (Surah no. 2 Al-Baqara verse 255)
“He is The All-Hearer, The All-knowing” repeated in many verses
“He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.” (Surah no.9 Al-Taubah verse 129)
“So Exalted be Allâh, the True King, Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne!” (surah no.23 Al-Momenoon v.116)
“And know that Allâh is Rich (Free of all wants), and Worthy of all praise.” (Surah no.2 Al- Baqara verse 64)
“The Glorious” (surah 85 Al-Buroog verse 15)
“Blessed is the name of your Lord Allah, the Owner of Majesty and Honor” (surah no.55 Al-Rahman verse 78)
“He is the Most Subtle and Courteous, Well Acquainted with all things.” (Surah 6 verse 103)
“Verily, Allâh is the Most Kind and Courteous…” (surah 22 Al-Hajj verse 63)
“The Most Generous” (surah no.82 Al-Infetar verse 6)
As we can see that the Qur’an only gives the highest sublime descriptions to God and ascribes Him as the Most Great, the Most High, The Supreme, The Holy, The Glorious, the Owner of Majesty and Honor, The One who is worthy of all praise, The One free from any defects, The All-Knowing, the, The All-Wise, The All-Hearer, The Most Gracious, The Most Generous, The All-Mighty, and so on. Not in one verse did the Qur’an ascribe God with a Bad attribute or quality that does not befit Him. As we said before, the Qur’an Glorifies God from all the bad things that was ascribed to Him Almighty by the Jews, Christians, or the Pagan Arabs. Every time they say something that does not befit God, The Qur’an answer them back saying:
“Glorified be Allâh above all that they attribute to Him!”
“Glorified be Allâh, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above what they attribute to Him!”
“Far is He from what they ascribe Him with”
“Glorified is Allâh! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him!”
“They did not estimate God with an estimation that befits Him”

41- Does God have smoke coming out of his noise
And fire out of his mouth

Christianity& Judaism

2 Samuel 22/8-9 “they trembled because He (God) was angry. Smoke rose from His nostrils: consuming fire came from His mouth”
Don’t we all agree that the only thing that has smoke coming out of his nostrils and fire coming out of his mouth is the dragon, and dragons don’t exist, they only exist in our imaginations and in cartoon movies, which are man made. Besides what is the use of the fire coming out of the mouth except for destruction and burning.
ISLAM

This description for God is unacceptable in Islam. It is absurd to describe God with smoke and fire coming out of his nostrils and mouth. As we said before; there is nothing or no one similar to God Almighty in His description, attributes, qualities or anything. God is unique in everything, and the way God looks is beyond our imagination. So how could anyone make Him look similar to an imaginative cartoon animal character (dragons)? Besides, this is a very ugly description and God’s is the most beautiful and the most unique one. According to Islam, and as the prophet said: the most pleasant reward ever to be granted to the believers in heaven is to look at God’s Most Gracious and Most Beautiful Face. It is the light of His face that lights all the darkness in this world.
And the prophet peace be upon him said: “God is Beautiful and He loves Beauty”

42-Is God a Rock?

Christianity& Judaism

Habakkuk 1/12 “O, Rock”
The Bible describes God as a Rock in many verses.
And many Christians say: “The Lord is my rock”

ISLAM

Even though it is normal for Christians to ascribe God as a Rock or say: “God is my rock”, and even though it is only a figure of speech, yet in Islam it is not acceptable or suitable to ascribe Him as a Rock. As we said before it is all about respect and attributing to God what befits His Holiness and Greatness, and ascribing Him as a rock does not befit Him.
There are many better ways to describe God Almighty rather than calling Him a Rock.
Besides; what is the difference between the pagans who make idols out of rocks and call them gods and worship it and Christians who call their God a rock?

43-Is God cursed? Does He curse Himself

Christianity& Judaism

In Jeremiah 10:19 “Woe is me for my hurt! My wound is grievous; but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.”

ISLAM

Again Islam refutes such absurd claims. It makes no sense! Why would The Most Great and The Most High God Almighty curse His Holy Self? And why would anyone worship a cursed God? The only reason that makes someone curse himself is when he experiences the feeling of failure or the inability to accomplish something that needs to be done, which makes him feel helpless, or when he goes through something that makes him so angry and so frustrated to the extent that makes him curse himself, and this is exactly what the biblical verse indicated. And God is far from all this. Can anyone imagine the pope of Italy or a respectful priest appears to people in public and curse himself? What would people think of him?
The prophet of Islam, during one of his journeys, heard a man cursing his camel because it misbehaved, so the prophet said to him to set his camel free because the prophet of Allah does not accompany anyone or anything that is cursed.
And Allah's Messenger (May peace be upon him) said: “It does not seem proper for Siddiq (true believer) that he should be an invoker of curse.” (Sahih Muslim, Book 032, Number 6280.)
Allah's Messenger (May peace be upon him) also said: “The invoker of curse would neither be an intercessor nor a witness on the Day of Resurrection.” (Sahih Muslim no. 6281.)

It was said to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him): “Invoke curse upon the polytheists, whereupon he said: I have not been sent as the invoker of curse, but I have been sent as mercy.” (Book of Sahih Muslim hadith no. 6284)
Islam forbids us to curse anyone or anything; except those that are known to be cursed by God. (Those who are mentioned as being cursed in His Book or through the tongue of His prophet)

44- Is God the author of confusion?

Christianity& Judaism

Albert Schweitzer in his book (In Search of  The Historical Jesus) got this confession to make, on page 22, he says: “And no miracle would prove that two and two makes five, or that a circle has four angels, and no miracles, however numerous could remove a contradiction which lies on the surface of the teachings and records of Christianity.”
The Plain Truth, July 1975 says: “There are claimed contradictions that theologians have not resolved to every atheist’s satisfaction. There are textual difficulties with which scholars are still wrestling. Only a bible illiterate would deny these and other problems.”
As we can see, they are simply trying to tell us that there are contradictions in the bible, which is so true. There are more than 100 and so contradiction that I have that I can list in this article, yet I am only going to mention a couple because this is not the place for talking about contradictions; there is a different book for it.

·        COULD GOD BE SEEN?
John 1/18 says: “no man hath seen God at anytime”
Exodus 33/20 says: “And he (God) said, thou canst see my face, for there shall no
man can see me and lives.”
1 Timothy says: “God, whom no man hath seen, nor can see”
Contradicted by:
Genesis 32/30 says: “And Jacob called the name of the place peniel, for I have
seen God face to face...”
Exodus 33/11 says: “And the Lord spoke unto Moses face to face as a man
speaketh unto his friend”
Exodus 24/10 says: “And they (Moses, Aaron & seventy others) saw the God of
Israel

·        DOES GOD REPENT?
Numbers 23/19 says:  “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man;
that he should repent..”
Contradicted by:
1 Samuel 15/35 says: “and the Lord repented that he made Saul king over Israel”
Exodus 32/14 says: “And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do
unto his people (Israel).”

·        WOULD GOD TEMPT ANYONE?
James 1/13 says: “Let no man say he is tempted; I am tempted of God, for God
cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.”
Contradicted by:
Genesis 22/1 says: “And it came to pass after these things that God did tempt Abraham.”

·        Should Children Be Punished Because Of Their Parents’ Sins?
Deuteronomy 5/9 says: “…I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the
children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation..”
 Contradicted by:
Ezekiel 18/20 says: “The soul that sinneth , it shall die. The son shall not bear the
iniquity of the father neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son, the
righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the
  wicked shall be upon him.”

·        HAS ANYONE ASCENDED TO HEAVEN OTHER THAN JESUS?
John 3/13 says: “no one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from
heaven, the son of man”
Contradicted by:
Genesis 5/24 shows that Enoch ascended to heaven, and 2 Kings 2/1-11 shows
that Elijah also ascended to heaven.

·        GOD OR THE DEVIL
In 2 Samuel 24/1 it says: “And again the anger of the Lord was kindled against
Israel, and he moved David against them to say, go number Israel and Judah.”
Contradicted by:
1 chronicles 21/1 it says: “And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David
to number Israel.”
So was it God who moved David to number Israel or was it the devil?

ISLAM

According to Islam; God could never be an author of confusion. His book could never contain any contradictions. God Almighty said in the Qur’an:
“Do they not then consider the Qur'ân carefully? Had it been from other than Allâh, they would surely have found therein many contradictions.” (Al-Nisaa 82)
“And verily, it is an honorable respected Book (because it is Allâh's Speech, and He has protected it from corruption, etc.).
Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise.” (Fussilat 41-42)
“Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the zhikr (i.e. the Qur'ân) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption) (Al-Hijr 9)

45-How much is God respected?

Christianity& Judaism

Psalm 77:9 “Hath God forgotten to be gracious?”
Psalms 39/12 “ be not Deaf to my weeping”
2Kings 19:16 “O lord bow down your ear and hear, open your eyes and see.”
Job 10:4 “Do you have eyes of flesh? Can you see as man see?”
Job 30:21 “Thou art become cruel to me”
Job 10:3 “Does it please you to oppress?”
In Psalms 44/23 says: “Awake, O Lord! Why do you sleep?”
Psalms 44/24 “why do You hide Your face and forget our misery and oppression”
And in Lamentation 5/20: “...why do u forsake us so long?”
Job: 19/67 “though I cry: I am wronged,…there is no justice.”
In Lamentations 5/19-20 says: “Why do You Always forget us?”
Job 2/9 when God started testing Job; his wife told him why do u still keep your integrity? Curse God and die. This was her advice; to curse God and die.
Is this how Christians were taught to respect God? Is this how they pray to Him?
Is this a respectful way to call upon Him?

ISLAM

According to Islam it is a blasphemy to talk to God in such a disrespectful way. Muslims are taught to respect God to the fullest and choose their words carefully when they pray to God. They were taught to glorify Him and praise Him and honor Him. Muslims are taught that it is not proper to say to God why or complain as Christians do. No Muslim can dare to say to God; be not deaf, or Awake O Lord why do you sleep, or I am wronged, or why do u forget, or why do you hide yourself, or say any of the things that Christians say. A Muslim is taught to pray to God or call upon Him in humbleness, humility, modesty, respect, love, passion, hope and fear

Invoke your Lord with humility and in secret. He likes not the aggressors.
And do not do mischief on the earth, after it has been set in order, and invoke Him with fear and hope; Surely, Allâh's Mercy is (ever) near unto the good doers.” (Al-Araf 55-56)
And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allâh , so call on Him by them” Al-Araf 180 (for example say; O Provider please provide me, O God the Most Merciful please have mercy on me, O Protector please protect me and so on)
And (remember) Zachariah, when he cried to his Lord: "O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors."
So We answered his call, and We bestowed upon him Yahya (John), and cured his wife (to bear a child) for him. Verily, they used to hasten on to do good deeds, and they used to call on Us with hope and fear, and used to humble themselves before Us.” (Al anbiya 89-90)

Conclusion

Christianity& Judaism

After reading the previously mentioned bible verses that speak about God’s attributes and qualities, it is clear that in the bible; God’s attributes and qualities does not differ much from the attributes or characteristics of humans, and sometimes, it is even similar to the characteristics of the animals.

According to the Bible; God is just like humans. He eats and drinks, He gets tired and needs to rest to be refreshed, He sleeps, He forgets, He gets grieved, He makes mistakes then regrets making it, He repents, He is unwise, unjust, He is not merciful, He is a violent God who likes the killing and the destruction, He is not there for His people, He does not answer their prayers and stand beside them in times of trouble, He even does evil things to His people. He wants ignorance for mankind. He deceives them and His prophets, He is not Omniscient, there are things that He does not know, He is not omnipotent; there are things that He is incapable of doing, He is weak, He is helpless and in need of others. The devil is more truthful than Him, He is the author of pornography and a pervert, He commands people with indecency, He could be fooled, He is foolish and He does childish things, He acts like a drunken man, He even roars like a lion, howls like a jackal, moans like an owl, wails like a dragon, He is like a moth and a bear and a leopard, He weeps and wails and even cries and gasp and pant like a woman in childbirth. And more.
So the question is; does these attributes and qualities befit the true God, The Lord and Creator of all that exists?
Any sane and upright person would agree with us that such attributes are considered to be a great insult to God Almighty. Who would worship a God who has such attributes and qualities?

ISLAM

After reading what was mentioned previously it is clear that the concept of God according to Islam differs completely from the concept of God according to Christianity.
According to Islam; nothing is like unto God in His attributes and qualities or in His acts or His Holy Soul may all praises do to Him. God’s attributes and qualities are unique and perfect and can’t be compared with anyone else’s attributes or qualities.
The Qur’an says:
“There is nothing like Him” (surah no.42 verse 11)
“Do you know of any who is similar to Him? (Of course none is similar or coequal or comparable to Him, and He has none as partner with Him).” (Surah no.19 verse65)
“And there is no one co-equal or comparable unto Him” (surah no.112 verse 4)
There are great differences between God the Creator and the creature, so we can’t ascribe God Almighty with the things that we ascribe to humans. In other words; we can’t say that

God eats or drinks or gets tired or sleeps or forgets or attribute to Him anything that indicates weakness, because He Almighty is far from weakness. We also can’t attribute to Him anything that indicates having any defects because He Almighty is free from any defects. He Almighty is perfect so all His attributes and qualities and acts and decisions are perfect and good, and not like humans who might have some good qualities and some bad ones, or might act wrongly or make mistakes or make unwise decisions.
We only attribute or describe God with what befit His majesty, Holiness, Greatness, Glory and perfection.
“And to Allah belongs the highest and sublime description” (Al-Nahl, verse 60).
“His is the highest and the most exalted description in the heavens and the earth; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.” (Al-Room verse 27).
As it is shown from reading all that we have mentioned, the Islamic concept of God is all about glorifying God from all that does not befit Him, attributing to Him complete perfection and high exalted qualities and describing Him with the most sublime descriptions. So after all we shall ask one last question;
Which concept of God would you dear reader prefer to be the concept of the True God, The Creator and The Provider of the universe? Do you prefer the concept of God according to Christianity or according to Islam?

At last, May Allah accepts my humble work and makes it beneficial for all those who search for the truth. And May Allah forgive any mistakes found in this work and forgive us our sins and guide us to what pleases Him. And Alhamdulilah; All praises do to Allah and peace be upon His final messenger Mohammed and upon all the messengers that came before him.
